Call To Action

In the Ghost, Hera, Zeb, Luna, and Chopper are in the lounge, watching the HoloNet, while Kanan, Sabine, and Ezra went to steal a crate of supplies. In the lounge, Hera is sitting on one side of the booth, Zeb is sitting on the other side of the booth, Luna is sitting between Zeb and Hera, and Chopper is in front of the table.

Kanan, Sabine, and Ezra walk into the lounge while a man says, on the HoloNet "Senator Trayvis, now that you've committed yourself to the Empire, will your followers do the same?"

Trayvis says "Most will, Alton. These were good people who simply wanted to make the Empire a better place, peacefully. But I'm afraid theses insurgents have twisted my message into something violent and frightening. Of course, I can't abide that. So I'm personally offering a reward for their capture."

Zeb scoffs and says "Karabast. Shut it off."

Hera shuts off the HoloNet and Luna says "Still makes me sick to think that Trayvis is working for the Empire."

Ezra says "Every time we won, we lose."

Kanan says "Well, I have a plan that might just even the score. If Trayvis can do it, we can do it, too."

Zeb says "What, we're gonna send out some kind of inspirational type messages?"

Kanan says "Exactly."

Hera says "Exactly."

Sabine says "Um, I don't get it."

Ezra says "Yeah, Kanan. What are you thinking? We can't just send a signal. The Empire would track it in half a second."

Kanan says "Not if the signal comes from one of its own towers."

Sabine says "Ah. Now I get it."

Ezra says "You want to take control of an Imperial communications tower, which is pretty much impossible, and then you want to use it to send a message to the people of Lothal?"

Kanan says "Not just Lothal. One of those big towers can reach a few systems."

Ezra says "That's a crazy plan."

Kanan says "That's why you like it."

Ezra says "And what would we say in this message?"

Kanan says "Something the Empire never says, the truth. We have to let people know what it's really like out here. Now, are you in?"

Ezra says "Count me in."

Kanan, Sabine, and Ezra leave the Ghost and check out the tower. Later, Kanan, Sabine, and Ezra return back to the Ghost and hatch a plan with the rest of the crew. In the lounge, everyone, except for Kanan, get everything that they need to be ready.

Kanan walks into the lounge and says "How we doing?"

Sabine says "Well, Chopper has the spike. We get him into the tower and he can upload it right into the computer core from any terminal."

Chopper chatters and Zeb says "Stop complaining, bolt-brain. You have the easy job."

Kanan says "What's the range of this spike?"

Sabine says "As long as the tower is transmitting, we're good to go. Everyone will hear what we say. Well, anyone who's listening."

Kanan says "Once the spike is uploaded, we'll signal."

Hera says "And I spirited you away in the Phantom."

Kanan says "That's the plan."

Luna says "And things always go according to plan, right?"

Ezra says "She's right about that."

Kanan says "What's with you?"

Ezra says "Nothing."

Kanan says "Let's take a walk."

Ezra gets up, from the booth, and him and Kanan leave the lounge. Later that night, Kanan, Zeb, Luna, Sabine, Ezra, and Chopper manage to infiltrate the control tower and overpower the stormtroopers. Zeb and Luna run to a big gun and Zeb knocks out the trooper, seating at the big gun. Zeb sits in the seat and Luna stands by Zeb, by holding onto the chair and a railing, and Zeb shoots at a bunch of troopers. Zeb and Luna see Kanan, Sabine, Ezra, and Chopper enter the tower. Zeb and Luna see a bunch of gunships and a couple of transports. Zeb turns the gun and shoots at the gunships and he shoots one of the gunships down.

Ezra comes over to Zeb and Luna, on his speeder bike, and Ezra says "Zeb, Luna, come on. Kanan wants us to move."

Zeb says "But I like this gun."

Ezra says "We'll get you another gun!"

A transport shoots at the gun, where Zeb and Luna are.

Zeb says "Yeah, I can get another gun."

Zeb and Luna jump onto Ezra's speeder bike and Ezra drives back to Kanan.

Kanan says "Not this way. Back inside."

Zeb, Luna, and Ezra get off of Ezra's speeder bike and Sabine says "Are you crazy?"

Kanan says "Take the lift. Hera will meet you at the top."

Ezra says "Wait. What about you?"

Kanan says "I'll take the next one."

Zeb says "Let's go."

Zeb, Luna, and Ezra run into the tower and they, Sabine, and Chopper take the lift to the top.

All of them come running out of lift and Ezra says "Where's Kanan?"

A gunship comes into their view and three troopers shoot at them. The rebels try to take cover, but they have nowhere to take cover. The rebels stand up by the wall and put there hands up. Sabine throws a detonator at the gunship and it goes down when the detonator went off.

Ezra says "Kanan!"

The Phantom shows up and Hera opens the door. Chopper, Sabine, Luna, Zeb, and Ezra get in the Phantom while being shot at from one of the transports.

Kanan says, over the commlink "Spectre-2, get out of here!"

Hera says "Not an option, Kanan."

Kanan says "No time! Go!"

Ezra says "We can't!"

Kanan says "Hera!"

Luna says "Hera, please don't!"

Hera closes the door and flies outta there. Luna gasps and she starts to cry. The rebels make it back to the Ghost and Luna can't stop crying. At dawn, the rebels get ready to make a message and they've decided to have Ezra to speak.

Ezra is broadcasted and Ezra says "We have been called criminals, but we are not. We are rebels, fighting for the people, fighting for you. I'm not that old, but I remember a time when things were better on Lothal. Maybe not great, but never like this. See what the Empire has done to your lives, your families and your freedom? It's only gonna get worse, unless we stand up and fight back. It won't be easy. There will be loss and sacrifice. But we can't back down just because we're afraid. That's when we need to stand tallest. That's what my parents taught me. That's what my new family helped me remember. Stand up together. Because that's when we're strongest, as one."

After that, all they hear is static.

Ezra says "Was it worth it? You think anybody heard?"

Hera says "I have a feeling they did."

Ezra says "This isn't over."

Hera says "No, it isn't."
