Kanan, Zeb, Luna, and Ezra meet up with the others in the command ship, when they came back with the Ghost.

Kanan says "We got the supplies, but we were fortunate to get away. The Empire's making our travels around the Outer Rim tougher all the time."

Commander Sato says "Yes. We need a new hyperspace route in and out of the Lothal sector."

Sabine says "I may have a perfect shortcut. The system of Concord Dawn. It's a Mandalorian colony and not an Imperial territory yet."

Ezra says "Why not? They've grabbed up just about every other place."

Rex says "Concord Dawn is known for its elite warriors. They were brought into train clones back in the war. But even the Empire thinks twice about a fight with them."

Commander Sato says "The question is, who are they loyal to? The Empire does occupy their home world of Mandalore, so Imperial influence could be a factor."

Sabine says "Years before the Clone Wars broke out, the Mandalorians were already at war with each other. This group call themselves the Protectors. They like to make up their own rules."

Luna says "Sounds familiar."

Commander Sato says "So we go in with strength, scout the system for defenses to see what we're up against."

Kanan says "Or why not try diplomacy? Ask permission to use their system as a shortcut."

Commander Sato says "Diplomacy? Warriors like these only understand strength."

Sabine says "He's got a point."

Hera says "But we shouldn't make an enemy if we don't need to. If we get permission to fly through their space, the next step could be recruitment. To grow the rebellion, we need friends like these Mandalorians. We could have our route and a powerful ally as well."

Commander Sato says "Very well, Captain Syndulla. The mission is yours."

Sabine says "Okay if I tag along?"

Hera says "I was hoping you'd ask."

Hera and Sabine leave the room and Ezra says "Hmm. Looks like diplomacy won the day for once."

Kanan says "There was a time when it always won the day."

A while later, Sabine makes it back to the rebel fleet and Kanan says, into the commlink "Sabine, what happened? We picked up a distress call. Where's Hera?"

Sabine says, over the commlink "She was right behind me. Kanan, we didn't have a chance. These Mandalorians work for the Empire, too."

Hera's heavily-damaged starfighter drops out of hyperspace.

Luna says "Oh my gosh."

Kanan says, into the commlink "Hera. Hera, can you hear me?"

Sabine says, over the commlink "I see her. I see her, Kanan. It's bad. You've got to hurry. Please hurry!"

An hour later, Hera is taken to medical attention, in a room, and Kanan is in the room with Hera while Zeb, Luna, Sabine, and Ezra stand outside the room. The door opens and Sabine go in the room while the others see Hera from outside the room.

Sabine says "How is she?"

The droid says "Her vital signs have stabilized. She is going to make it. But she requires rest."

Sabine says "This is my fault. I shouldn't have left her."

Kanan says "There's nothing you could have done. I'm just glad you're both back in one piece. Commander Sato wants the details on what happened."

Sabine says "Yeah, I'll be right there."

Kanan says "Okay."

Kanan walks out of the room and stops in front of Luna.

Kanan says, to Luna "When Sabine is done in there, can you watch over her?"

Luna says "Of course."

Kanan and Ezra walk away and Zeb says "Do you need me in there with you?"

Luna says "No, it's okay."

Zeb says "Alright. I'm gonna go back to the command room. Contact us when Hera wakes up."

Luna says "Got it."

Zeb walks to the command room and Luna waits for Sabine to come out. Sabine comes out of the room and Luna walks in and sits down in a chair. After a while later, Hera wakes up and Luna contacts the others that Hera is awake. Kanan and Sabine are back from Concord Dawn and Hera wants to see them. Kanan and Sabine walk into the room, where Hera and Luna are.

Hera says "I hear we're taking prisoners now."

Kanan says "I like to think of him more as a reluctant recruit."

Sabine says "It was better than the alternative. We're not at war with the Protectors. There was no need to take their lives if we don't have to."

Hera says "Hmm. Sabine, you're sounding more like a Jedi than a Mandalorian."

Sabine says "Well, I guess I've just been raised right."
