Visions and Voices

Hera briefs the Spectres, Rex, and members of the Phoenix Cell on a windy day at Chopper Base in the command center.

Hera says "Even though we still have some preparation to do before we strike the Empire's factory on Lothal, I want to do a thorough recon trip to update our intel. There's no need for the full squadron. A small unit should be able to handle this. I'm assigning you the mission, Ezra. Ezra? Care to join the briefing?"

Ezra says "Sorry. Yeah. No, it's just I...I thought I saw something."

Hera says "This is your mission, Ezra. I need your full attention."

Ezra says "Yeah, you've got it. Sorry."

Hera says "All right. So first, you'll ship into the system and study the Empire's orbital defenses. We'll keep our distance, but gather all the data we can. I want Destroyer positions, TIE patrol routes, transport schedules..."

They notice Ezra being distracted and Kanan walks over to Ezra.

Kanan puts his hand on Ezra's shoulder and Kanan says "Something wrong?"

Ezra says "No, I...I just...I thought I saw something, or someone."

Hera says "The Recon Team leaves as soon as we're loaded up. Questions?"

Sabine says "Is Admiral Thrawn there?"

Hera says "We have reports of an increase in capital ships, but no confirmation as to whether he's there."

Ezra bumps into Kanan and Kanan says "Ezra, what is it?"

Ezra bumps into Zeb and Zeb says "Hey, kid. You feeling all right?"

Luna says "Yeah, you're not looking too good, Ezra. Maybe you should get some rest before you go on your mission."

Ezra points and says "There! Look!"

Zeb and Luna turn and Zeb says "What are we looking at?"

Hera says "You don't look very good."

Kanan says "Ezra, what do you see?"

Ezra turns and he gets frightened. Ezra gasps and faints and falls onto the conference table.

Kanan says "Ezra!"

Hera says "Kanan, what's going on?"

Kanan and Zeb attend to Ezra as Kanan says "I don't know. I don't know!"

Zeb says "Ezra, can you hear me? Ezra!"

Later, Ezra wakes up in Zeb's and Luna's bunk in his, Zeb's, and Luna's cabin on the Ghost.

Kanan says "Wake up."

Ezra gasps as he is startled by Kanan, but Kanan says "Whoa, Ezra. It's okay. You're safe."

Hera says "You want to tell us what's going on?"

Ezra sits up and is in a sitting position on Zeb's and Luna's bunk.

Ezra says "It was Maul."

Sabine says "You mean, at the briefing?"

Ezra says "I saw him. He said my name. He was right behind me. I mean, he was right there."

Zeb says "Kid, Luna and I were standing next to you. There was nobody else there."

Luna says "Yeah, we didn't see him, Ezra."

Hera says "Maybe it was some kind of, uh, Force vision."

Kanan says "Mmm, maybe."

Zeb says "Ah. If you ask me, the kid's just been working too hard."

Zeb and Luna leave theirs' and Ezra's cabin.
