AT THE hospital, the group of five teens got out and headed for the entrance at the emergency side of the hospital. When they walk in, the receptionist is filing her nails as music plays in the background. Deena walks up with Marcus and Kate. The woman doesn't even spare a glance away from her fingernails.
Deena dings the bell, waiting. "Fill these out and take a seat." The woman still doesn't even bother to look up. "No, I'm just visiting." Deena pushes away the clipboard. "Visiting hours ends at nine." The lady says and Marcus just glanced at Deena before he steps up to the desk.
"Tell Nurse Beddy she has a patient." He says and the woman finally looks up. The teens now wait before Beddy walks in, "Beddy. Long time, how you been?" Marcus smiles. "I see you and Kate are still toting around with this moron." Beddy says, glancing at Simon.
"They can't quit me, Beddy, I'm too pretty!" Simon says, gesturing his arms out with a smile on his face and Marcus smiles more at that as Beddy scoffs. "Listen, we need your assistance." Marcus says to Nurse Beddy.
"I'm sure that you do, but there happens to be a new security protocol. We kept coming up short on blueberries and bananas. So now I need a special key--" "I need to see a patient." Deena quickly cut off Nurse Beddy halfway through her sentence. But nevertheless, Nurse Beddy leads the way for Deena as Marcus, Kate, Simon and Josh stay in the waiting room.
"Blueberries and bananas?" Josh asked, looking at Kate. "Vicodin and Percocet." Kate answers truthfully making Marcus glance at her. "You want anything from the machine? I'm starving." She says before walking past him. The three teenage boys follow behind.
At the vending machine, Marcus gets himself a Milky Way bar and a Coca-cola. "Can you get me that?" Kate points and Marcus huffs. "Do I look like your sugar daddy? I just used my only money I have on me." He says and she scoffs, raising her hand. "Si-Money, cash me." She says and Simon glanced over at her. "Don't look at me, dude. I'm... I'm... I'm broke." He says, still checking his pockets for some change.
"You got any change?" She points at Josh who shyly glanced up. "Oh, um..." He proceeds to check his pockets, "let me check..." He continues digging into his pockets, even his shirt pocket. "Uh, uh, no. Uh, but I..." He walks over to the vending machine, the other three older teens just stand there waiting for him.
All of the snacks begin falling off, he crosses his arms. "What do you want?" He asked and Marcus raised his brows. "You seriously waited until after I spent my damn money, Johnson?" He asked and Josh immediately apologized for that, making Marcus laugh and clarify he was just joking around with him.
They begin taking out all of the snacks from the vending machine. "Where'd you learn how to do this?" Kate asked as she takes a chocolate bar from the snacks in Josh's arms. "Oh, a lot of people trade hacks online." He explains and Simon coughs. "Nerd." Marcus smacks his arm as Josh turns around to face them.
"So, um..." Josh chuckles. "When'd you get into the fruit business?" He asked. "What?" Kate says, a little confused. "Um... the, uh, drugs." He says and Kate realizes. "Oh, that's just temporary. For Marcus too... Saving up to get out of here." She explains, smiling at Josh.
"Take me with you."
Simon's brows furrow and Kate is unsure how to respond as Simon then imitates a missile flying through the sky and then the explosion. Just then, a scream caught their attention, looking over at Sam and Deena running their way. "Run!" Deena shouts at the four. "Did they get back together?" Simon asked.
The skeleton skull killer runs by them so Kate lets out a scream, right then Marcus grabbed Simon and Kate, running off with them. "Josh!" He shouts and Josh ran with them, the candy bars flying everywhere. "Just drop them!" Marcus shouts and Josh did so.
At the exit, Simon looks at Josh. "Where are the keys? Do you have the keys? He asked and Josh looks at him. "No!" He exclaims and Simon immediately turns to Marcus. "Where are the keys?" He asked, grabbing onto Marcus' hand, interlocking his fingers with the other's as the brunette looks at him. "I-I don't know... I think Deena has them..." He says and Kate grabs Marcus' arm. "Come on. The ambulance!"
Right when they got back, Sam and Deena were fighting off the killer. "Come on!" Simon shouts for them as he and Marcus look out from the back doors of the ambulance. "Come on! Let's go!" Marcus shouted to them.
"Deena! Come on! Deena!" Josh shouted and then the two girls run over to the ambulance. "Go! Go!" Deena and Sam hop into the vehicle. Marcus and Simon shut the doors together, then Kate drove off immediately.
Their first thought was going to the police station so Deena and Sam can report what happened at the hospital to the police. Meanwhile outside, Marcus waited with Josh, Kate and Simon. "We should not be this close to the police station if we're in a stolen ambulance." Simon says and Marcus sighs.
"Well, that's the point. We're hiding in plain sight." Kate explains to him. "Yeah. Just like Bundy." Josh says, rubbing his hands onto the thighs of his jeans. The other three teens give him strange looks so he looks between all of them. "Ted Bundy, when he was stalking his victims, I mean." He stated.
"Okay, didn't he get caught though?" Kate asked and Josh thinks. "Well, no. Well, yeah, but--" "Figure this out. I'm gonna take a leak." Simon says before looking at Marcus. "What? Want me to come and hold your dick for you?" He says, shrugging as he waves his hands around and Simon just walks away.
"No, nothing. Nothing." He says quickly as he begins to walk away and Marcus rolls his eyes, covering his mouth. "I'm gonna sit in the front... leave you two alone for a bit." He jokingly nudged Josh then he nudged Kate. Just to tease them a bit before he moves to the front seat of the ambulance, in the driver's seat.
