Chapter 41

I dropped to my knees and it felt like my heart stopped beating. Then I began to breath heavily and the tears flowed down like rivers. I couldn't talk to the other person on the phone, yet they continued talking.

"She's at the hospital right now. Her condition is a bit serious...."

"No.....no....this ISN'T HAPPENING."

"Miss Choung? Are you still there?"

".....What's her hospital room number....."

"She's in the ER right now. They probably won't move her into a regular room for a while. Are you going to come?"

I slowly stood up, "....Yes."

I didn't even dress out of my photo shoot outfit. I just ran to my van and told my driver to quickly go to the hospital. I couldn't control myself. So many things were going through my head at one time. My hands were shaky and I was still breathing heavy.

Once we arrived at the hospital, I ran out of the van. I ran to the front desk and asked for the ER room. The desk manager told me where it was and I ran to find it. I've never run so fast or so much in my life.

I finally made it to the ER doors but a nurse stopped me from going in.

"I'm sorry, we can't let you go in."

"Why?! I need to go!" I screamed at the nurse.

"I'm sorry but we can't. There is a waiting room just down the hall, you can wait there."

"I can't wait!"

"Please, just go to the waiting room Miss."

"No! I can't-"

I was cut off by Hyun Jae running down the hallway and grabbing me.

"-Akia, calm down. It's okay," Hyun Jae said trying to calm me down.

"No! It's not okay!" I screamed trying to fight back with Hyun Jae.

Finally, I just let go. Hyun Jae brought me into a hug and I just cried as much as I could. I didn't care about my "image," this is Kay Kay. I want to make sure she's okay.

Hyun Jae was finally able to bring me into the waiting room and I slowly calmed down. I was given a glass of water to help calm my nerves. But the more I sat in that waiting room, the more nervous I became.

Cho Hee and Yerin finally arrived at the hospital about 5 minutes later along with our manager. Yerin was already in tears and Cho Hee was frantic.

Yerin was out of it just like I was. I was quiet the whole time while they were speaking.

"Unni, what happened to her?!" Yerin was crying.

"We don't know yet. Just sit down for now," Hyun Jae said trying to help her sit down.

"Why though?! Why won't they let us know anything!" Cho Hee was angry. I've never seen her like this before.

We all loved Kay Kay. She was that one person who everyone loved. She was the most loved among our fans too. Kay Kay was like a sister to all of us.

"She has to be okay.....she has to......"

Yerin sat next to me and was breathing heavy from crying so much and was very shaky. She couldn't stop moving her hands. She was a wreck. I quickly grabbed her hand and just held it. She slowly calmed down and tightened her grip on my hand.

I looked at the clock and read the time. "11:20....we've been here for about 15 minutes."

Yerin was tired and worried, "Unni....when will we find out if she's okay?"
