Chapter 39

I was suddenly attacked from the side and was nearly knocked down to the floor.

"AKIAAAAAA!!! WELCOME HOME!~" Sungmin screamed while holding onto me.

"Sungmin....you're choking me....." I said coughing and gasping for air.

"WELL GET USED TO IT BECAUSE I'M NOT LETTING GO!" he screamed tightening his grip.

By that time Donghae walked in, "Sungmin why are you- AKIA YOU'RE HOME!"

He ran up to Sungmin and I and it soon became a group hug. "Aigoo......my lungs are going to collapse..."

Everyone soon came out of their rooms or wherever they were to come join the huge group hug. It was hard to breath, but at that point I no longer cared. I walked over to Shindong and gave him a big hug as he lifted me from the floor. I smiled and wished him a happy birthday.

"Omo Shindong, have you been losing weight?" I asked surprised at how slim he looked.

"Just the yo-yo effect," he said smiling and patting his stomach.

"Yo-yo effect?" I asked.

"You either lose weight or gain it. So far I've been losing," he said looking proud.

I smiled and handed him the present I bought him. He set it down next to the rest of the presents. Shindong sat down at the end of the table as everyone sang happy birthday to him. Henry and Eunhyuk smashed the cake into his face as he started to lick off the icing. Siwon got out the other cake and began handing out slices.

Shindong opened all his presents and finally got to mine.

He opened it and said, "What if I wanted Neon stuff?"

"Huh?" I asked a little confused.

"I'm your number one fan! Why didn't I get Neon merchandise?" he said and pretended to fake cry as everyone started laughing.

He laughed and thanked me for the hats. We all soon began talking, but I wanted to stray away from attention. Today is Shindong's day, not mine. I was just talking to Ryeowook as everyone else was in their own worlds.

About 30 minutes later, the questions started to gear towards me.

"When are you releasing your first album?" Donghae asked.

"Sometime next week I think. But it's just a mini album."

"Which song do you think is the best?" Sungmin asked.

"We all like the song Cho Hee wrote, but my favorite is 'Doing Good.'"

"Can we hear some songs?" Henry begged.

"If you buy the album," I teased as everyone laughed.

They all soon started to beg me to show them a small dance move from the mini album. I hesitated at first, but then I thought it wouldn't hurt. I got up and danced a small part as Eunhyuk shouted out, "Shindong that was your surprise present."

I was embarrassed as they all broke out laughing. "My dancing is a surprise present?"

It soon became 10:00 and I figured I would head home before everyone fell asleep so I wouldn't wake any of them. Although, going home was hard. Not only because I wanted to stay at the dorm longer, but because some of the guys were leashing onto me telling me not to leave yet. I really did want to stay longer and make it seem like I was still living with them. I decided to stay just 15 more minutes.

Instead of sitting down with everyone in the living room, I walked over to my room. I slowly opened the door and took a deep breath. Nothing had moved. Not even an inch. It just looked......really empty.
