Chapter 9

I woke up on the plane in a daze. I nearly forgot we were more than 10,000 feet in the air. I looked down and saw that the flight attendant had put a blanket on Ryeowook and I. He was still asleep, and everyone else was too. Everyone except for Donghae. He was sitting across the isle from me next to Yesung. He just sat there with an expressionless face. I wondered why he was the only one up. It was....honestly I didn't even bother to see what time it was because I didn't know what time zone we were in. Donghae finally noticed that I was up too. He smiled at me and I mouthed the words "why are you up" to him. He just smiled again and looked away. Something looked like it was bothering him. I hope it wasn't because Leeteuk wanted everyone to come on the trip with me and he really didn't want to come. I would've felt really guilty if that was the problem.

Everyone later woke up since the flight attendants brought us food. I didn't care much for plane food, but I was starving. After eating I felt sleepy again. I listened to some soft piano music and drifted off to sleep once again. This time I only slept for about 30 minutes because Ryeowook was eating some peanuts and the package was loud when he opened it.

"I'm sorry did I wake you up?"

"No," I lied. "I don't know why I'm sleeping so much. I usually don't sleep at all on plane rides."

He entered the food into his mouth and said, "It's probably because you're really tired. You should get a lot of rest right now for what's coming up."

He was right. I had to prepare for the funeral and get our house ready for everyone. I refused to go to sleep though. I put on a movie and watched it for about two hours and thirty minutes. It looked dark outside so I assumed it was night time. I brought the blanket up closer to me and leaned my head on the window. Within seconds I was back to sleep.

When I woke up my head had moved to Ryeowook's shoulder with his head resting on mine, still asleep. "How did we get like this?" Oh well, I didn't really mind anyway. Until I saw two cell phones sneaking a picture. It was Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun who were sitting in front of us. My eyes widened and they started laughing. I moved my hands in front of their phones and screamed, "Yah!! What are you doing?!" They just kept laughing until Kyuhyun answered, "Taking a picture of the couple." I felt like punching them both in the face. I pouted and crossed my arms and looked at everyone else. They were all awake and talking. "Oh my god did anyone else see that? Did they take a picture of us?" I slouched down in my seat a little and stared outside. Ryeowook's head dropped dead and he woke up. He yawned and must have noticed me looking mad. He said sounding like he was still asleep, "What's the matter?"

I pointed at Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun who were still laughing. Ryeowook sat up straight and said, "What did you do?"

They showed him the pictures they got on their phones. He turned back to look at me and started to blush. He told them to delete them but they of course refused to. I was angry and told them, "Stop being creepers and delete them!" They still didn't so I just decided to ignore them. About 2 hours later the pilot finally announced that we would be landing soon. Everyone looked somewhat excited. I was just happy that we were landing. After getting through the airport we took a couple taxis back to my house.

My house was two stories tall and was a dark maroon-ish color. It was made of wood and had a huge front porch and one huge balcony on the second floor. The inside actually seemed bigger than the outside to me. The members all stepped up onto the porch as I knocked on the door.

Shindong asked me, "This is your house?"

"Yes," I answered and my mom opened the door.

She held out her arms for a hug and screamed out, "Oh my sweet Akia!"
