I woke up the next morning with Kyuhyun slamming the newspaper in front of my face.
"Akia! You and Hangeng are in the newspaper."
I felt so tired and sore I couldn't even think straight.
"Kyuhyun.....the paper smells really strong in the morning...."
He was too excited to notice, "Look! You guys are right here on the front page!"
"Kyuhyun!! Why are you so excited?" I asked.
"He's not excited, he just wants to annoy you." Hangeng answered.
I looked at Kyuhyun with a serious look, "Typical."
But he still ignored me and talked about the article, "It tells everything that happened! The fight and everything."
I was stunned, "I don't remember anyone interviewing us..."
Hangeng told me, "They probably asked the police what we said. I'm surprised they actually gave out the information."
I just shrugged and went to drink my coffee. "Maybe some coffee will help me feel better."
Ryeowook wouldn't let me help him with breakfast because he said my foot would start hurting if I kept standing. So, I was forced to sit down on the couch.
The rest of the day just seemed to drag on. Everyone was talking with Hangeng catching up on their memories and everything while I was sitting in my room on my laptop. I was really bored. Lately I've noticed that I was running out of things to do at the dorms. I needed something to keep myself busy. "What should I do though?" I then remembered the cafe Donghae took me to a while back. I looked up the name of the cafe and saw that they were still hiring. "Maybe I could take the job as a performer like that one girl..." I then saw a picture of that one girl and clicked on it.
Turns out her name was Kay Kay and she was 23. She looked a bit younger than 23 to me... She performs everyday at 12:00 and 6:00 then works as a waitress. I became a little more interested in the job. I decided to apply without the guys knowing. I filled out all the information online and sent my application to the cafe. I hope I was doing the right thing. With how I was feeling, I would probably regret it later on.
. . . .
It was soon Friday, which meant Hangeng was leaving today at 2:00. It was sad to see him go, I enjoyed him staying in the dorms with us. We both got to know each other pretty good, and he was so kind. Although, there were a few rough patches in the beginning. We all said goodbye to Hangeng and Heechul as they left to go to the airport. Heechul was dropping him off again. I was hoping none of the members would cry, but I was wrong. They all were happy for Hangeng and his career in China, yet sad to see him leave. I felt sad seeing him leave too, but he has things to take care of.
Ryeowook came into my room after he left so he could talk to me.
"So.....how's life?" he asked me.
"How's life? What kinda question is that?" I looked at him.
"Okay then, how's your leg?"
"A lot better. I might be able to walk normally tomorrow." I said smiling.
"Don't force yourself to walk! If it still hurts don't walk on it." he said concerned.
"But I'm tired of limping everywhere! I look like a kangaroo!"
