It was a bright and early morning today in District 12. There, a girl named Caroline woke up. She stretched her hands up in the air. Carolyn smiled while looking at the morning sun. It sure is lovely today, said Carolyn to herself. She got out of bed and fixed the sheets making it smooth while she ran her hand over it. She went to the kitchen to eat breakfast. She got out some leftover eggs, bacon, sausages, and a fresh orange juice. Carolyn settled in her seat. She wofled down her breakfast to get ready for today. As one of Seneca's officials, she had an important job to do: Bring back the dead bodies from the 74th Annual Hunger Games and bring them back to the lab. She got into the bathroom to take a nice relaxing shower with cold water pouring down to her body. She got out quickly and got out her white dress Katniss has given her for her birthday. Carolyn thought of being barefoot, but brought in extra sandals just in case to her trip. She quickly brushed her teeth then began to head out. She began walking towards the train station. In order to get on the train, she had to grab her tickets and pass. She walked over to one of Seneca's assistants.

"Hello there." Said Carolyn brightly smiling.

"Hello to you as well," The assistant greeted to Carolyn. "you must be Carolyn Faye. I'm Ashton."

"Yes. That's me. Hello to you as well, Ashton." Replied Carolyn.

"Mind if I call you Carol?" Asked Seneca's assistant.

"Sure." Said Carolyn still smiling brightly.

"Carol, here are your tickets and pass," Ashton kindly told her. "You have to go back to the arena where the 74th Hunger Games were held. The crew in the laboratory might be able to bring them all back to life."

"Alright. But how am I supposed to find their bodies?" Inquired Carol.

"Don't worry," The assistant reassured her. "All of them are preserved. You will find them in different locations though."

Different locations you say? This will be tough, thought Caroline. "Okay," responded Carol. "will there be any mutts or tracker jackers on the way?"

"I believe there will be a few." Said Ashton.

Great. Just great. "Alright," Carolyn spoke. "I'll be on my way then. See you, Ashton."

"Goodbye," Ashton said to her. "Take care and be safe out there!"

Carolyn got onto the train and took her seat. She was thinking to herself if she'll be okay there. The thought of dead bodies lying around frightened her. She wasn't that much of a reckless or war person. She was more of a kind or nature person. After a few seconds, the train began to move at top speed. Trees were seen along the way. It was beginning to become darker. So she decided to sleep since she'll arrive to the arena morning.

She woke up and she was finally at her stop. Carol got out of the train. The train left quickly and went straight ahead. Carolyn was dazzled by the people wearing really funny and pretty clothes. She saw this elderly woman wearing a pink outfit who was heading over to her. She also had pale skin. She knew who the woman was. It was the one and only, Effie Trinket. Effie squealed at Carolyn's presence.

"Hello there dearie!," Effie happily greeted her, "I am so glad to see you again!"

"It's nice to see you again Effie." Smiled Carol. It has been a really long time since they've seen each other again. When she was just twelve, she went to the Capitol to visit Effie and Haymitch. After the day was over, Carol never got the chance to see Effie again.

"I heard that you had an important mission to do." Effie spoke.

"It's not really a mission Madame Trinket; it's just a job I need to do." Foresaid Carolyn.

"I see," Effie forementioned. "I believe we should be heading to the tubes where the 24 tributes were sucked in and onto the battle field."

         "Okay." Replied Carol.

The two girls walked into the building. Carol looked around the building amazed. Effie smiled at Caroline's expression. They saw a huge green tube where one of the tributes got onto.

"As you can see," called out Effie. "This is the tube where Clove got into."

           "Incredible." Mesmerized Carol.

"Would you like to go into the battle field and begin you quest?" Asked Effie.

            "Sure." Carol replied right away.

Carolyn got into the tube. For a few seconds, everything was pitch black. Literally. Then, came sunlight. She covered her eyes immediately because of the sun making her expose to the sun's light. Carolyn now was beginning her quest.

Okay. I know it's not that much but at least I finished this chapter. I'll explain more about how Caroline became one of Seneca's officials in the next chapter. I hope you like this! And Read&Review as well! This is SaylaDemon signing off.
