That afternoon, all Maddie could do was drag Cato to wherever she wanted them to be. Which bothered Cato a lot. He worried of how Carolyn would react of this. He should have said no when he had the chance to. But when Maddie snapped him out of his daydream, they were already at their destination. Cato was seated at a window in the left and Maddie was in front of him.
"Waiter!," Maddie yelled so loud everyone stopped what they were doing to take a look at the black-haired girl. "sorry!" She yelled again. Man, were the people eating irritated.
"Could you lower it down a bit?" Cato asked hoping Maddie would listen to his idea.
"Maybe later," Maddie said nodding her head. "but first, I have to take care of this issue. Waiter!" Madeline then yelled again.
"Yes?" A man with a name tag named BOB appeared.
"Finally," Madeline sighed in relief. "may I have a chocolate sundae?"
"Of course madame," Bob replied writing down the order in a piece of paper. "and what will you be having sir?" The waiter asked turning to Cato.
"Oh," Cato spoke. "a cup of coffee will do thank you very much."
"Got it," Bob replied. "please wait patiently while we prepare it for the two of you."
When the waiter left, Maddie suddenly looked at Cato blinking her eyes several times in a flirtatious way. But Cato's responds wasn't so lovingly. Instead, he just huffed and looked outside the window.
"Cato." Madeline began.
But Cato didn't look at her.
"Cato!," Maddie whined. "why aren't you looking at me?!"
Just then, Bob came back with the two's orders in his hands.
"One cup of coffee and chocolate sundae right here sir, ma'am." Bob said.
"Thank you." Cato said looking at the waiter and chugged his coffee.
Maddie just sat there eating her sundae while not making eye contact with Cato.

"Do you still want to go to the beach?" Maddie questioned Cato hoping his answer was yes.
But it was the opposite. Instead, Cato said, "No. I have to be going somewhere now."
Madeline held on to one of Cato's hand.
"Will I ever get to see you again?" Maddie asked.
And that's when Cato went walking away. Madeline couldn't believe it. Cato had just left her.

Cato was walking down a lonely alley in District 4 until someone called out his name.
"Cato!" The person yelled.
Cato recognized the voice from anywhere. It wasn't the annoying Madeline. It was his Carolyn. Cato turned back and saw Carol running towards him. He knew it. When Carol was nearing him, she threw her arms out and gave Cato a tight embrace.
"Where were you?" Carol breathed in his grey shirt.
"You don't wanna know," Cato said as he planted a kiss on Carol's forehead. "where were you?"
"Cooling off somewhere," Carolyn continued. "I was worried of you."
"I was more worried of you," Cato spoke as he lifted Carol up to his face. Carol couldn't help it but do a cute squeal. She grinned as bright as she could which earned herself a smiling Cato. "just don't go off like that ever again, promise?"
"Promise." Carol replied.
Man, were the crew getting brilliant footage.
But Carol and Cato didn't know someone was watching them. It was Madeline. She was hiding behind one of the houses in one of the district's village. Maddie would soon get her revenge. But she just had to wait patiently for the right time.
