It was now dark in District 4. Carol and Cato were back home at Annie and Finnick's place. Since there were no extra rooms, the two blondes had to share a room. Which felt pretty weird to Carol since she's never slept with a boy. The worst part of that was Carol sharing a bed with Cato. Only married couples did this. But she just had to get over it. Carolyn had just changed to her pink pajamas with bunnies on them that she packed. Cato was wearing a green shirt along with his grey sweatpants.

Since Carol kept yawning, she decided to plop down on the king sized bed and slept peacefully. Cato couldn't help it but chuckle at the sight he was seeing. He decided to play with her hair for a while. To Cato, Carolyn's hair was as soft as a sheep's coat of wool. Her blonde hair was as shiny as a pearl located in a pink shell. Cato kissed Carolyn's forehead one last time for tonight. And when he was sleepy, he wrapped his right arm on Carol's thin waist and began to sleep. He huddled closely to Carol as if he were protecting her the whole night so nothing would happen to Carol.

The following morning, Carolyn was the second to wake up. The first thing she noticed that morning was Cato smiling brightly at her. Carol couldn't help it but blush.

"Morning, beautiful." Cato greeted Carol with a wink. This earned him a red-faced Carol.

"Morning yourself." Carolyn shyly said as she looked away so Cato wouldn't see her blush. But it was too late now.

"Come on." Cato replied as he got up from the bed and stretched. His abs were showing.

Cato's abs though, Carol thought to herself.

Cato smirked since he already knew what Carol was thinking of.

"Having a good view of me?" Cato teased as he removed his green shirt and threw it to his side.

"Put them back on!" Carol shouted as she covered her eyes with her hands and have a small giggle.

"Maybe I will," Cato spoke as he picked up his shirt and put it back on. He still saw Carolyn closing her eyes. "you can look now."

Carol checked to see if Cato had been telling the truth. "Good to hear." She said.

"Time for training." Cato announced to Carol.

"Fine." Carol replied with a sigh.

After breakfast was over, Carol, Cato, Mags, and Finnick were outside learning how to become better at fighting.

"If you're gonna win a battle against strong people, the best way is to follow my instructions." Finnick explained to everyone.

"May we just get to the fighting part?," Carolyn said interrupting Finnick.

"Sure," Finnick replied. "show us what Miss Faye has got."

"Thanks." Replied Carol.

Carol picked up a bow and arrow from the tabled that said WEAPON SECTION at one of the tables.

Then Carolyn strung up the bow, placed an arrow, and targeted for the bullseye. Which Carol had succeeded in since Katniss has thought Carolyn ever since she was just a little girl.

"Wow." Mags, Finnick, and Cato said at once like a choir group. Carol grinned as she saw the three's reactions.

"I guess you won't be needing any training at all," Mags said amused. "I see you've already got Katniss and Gale to teach you these."

"Never underestimate the power of a Faye." Carolyn mentioned that to Mags.

"I believe you're ready to go to District 5 now." Annie announced as she came outside with little Marvin.

"I believe so." Cato piped in.

"I guess this is a farewell now," Carol began sadly. "tonight, I have to get going."

"I have to get back to District 2 as well," Cato spoke. "you know how the mayor is. Consequences."

"I'll see you guys some other day." Carol replied as she hugged little Marvin, Annie, Finnick, Mags, and especially Finnick.

"Good luck." The four said.

"Thank you," Carol smiled. "I'll need it."
