The crew members in the plane were about to send Cato back to District 2. I wonder what the citizens in District 2 will say about Cato being back, Carol grinned. Carolyn went back to check on Cato again to see what he was doing. Cato was still sleeping. It is sooo adorable to see Cato like this, the blondie smiled. Carol felt someone tapping on her shoulder. She turned around and suprisingly saw Haymitch.
"Why, hello there Haymitch." The blonde greeted Katniss and Peeta's mentor.
"Hello-" Haymitch began but Carolyn cut him off.
"Please don't say my name out loud," Whispered Carol. "Cato might eavesdrop on us."
"How can he hear us when he's still sleeping?" Inquired Haymitch.
"He might be pretending to sleep." Suggested Carol.
"Huh," Haymitch looked suprised. "I never thought of that."
"Yep." Carol crossed her arms while her face showed a winning smirk.
"The crew here are just gonna take Cato back to his district and then we'll send you back home," Haymitch told the blonde. "I think you had enough."
"I have," Carol explained. "but when there's another quest like this, call me!" Said Carol trying to make Haymitch feel good.
"Alright then." Haymitch smiled.
"Oh yeah," Carol whispered so that Cato couldn't hear the two. "in the meantime, just call me Marolyn. Marolyn Faith. My real name's still Carolyn Faye, but so that Cato wouldn't come looking for me."
"Sure..." Haymitch replied not really sure of what to say next.
"Cool then!" Carolyn showed with both her hands with thumbs-up.
By the time Carolyn and Haymitch finished their conversation, they reached District 2. Cato had just woken up as well. Martin went in to hold him down and tied his hands with roped securely so he couldn't escape. Cato glanced at Carol then turned away. Did he recognized me as the one who saved him?!, Carol asked to herself worryingly. Effie patted Carol on her back to calm her down. Carolyn took a deep breath and exhaled smoothly.
Meanwhile while Cato was back in his hometown, Cato tried to picture who the person who saved him was. Cato figured the person was a girl. After all, when he had heard the mysterious woman sing, he felt as if he was on Cloud 9. When Cato passed through people, they stopped and stared at him. The expressions on their faces was shocked. Citizens were whispering to each other and said that this was just a dream. But it wasn't. When Cato reached his house, he opened the door. His room was dusty. The halls were as quiet as if the time froze. He headed up to his room. In his drawer, Cato took out a pen and notebook. In the book, Cato wrote:
"Find the girl and make her mine."
Cato was ready to find who the girl was. It didn't matter to him how many days it will take him to find her. All he knew is that she saved his life. Cato sure was in love with his savior. Cato wondered if the girl he glanced at was the one. But no. It couldn't be. She was wearing a different outfit and her hair was really messy. But could she have changed to make sure he didn't recognize her? No. It wasn't her. It couldn't have been her. If only Cato knew what district she was at and what her name was. That would have been easier for him. Cato lied down on his bed to rest. When he closed his eyes, he told himself he would find the girl starting tomorrow.
Love's beginning to start here! Sorry if it took long for me to write the 7th Chapter. Well, I got to get busy to write the new one. Peace! P.S, keep reading this story.
