Carolyn panted because she ran too fast going to her tent. When Carol peeked inside the bright yellow tent, she caught sight of a sleeping bad, a lantern, food, water, clothes to change into, slippers, socks, and shoes. Carol took a can of food that read CHICKEN SOUP. She opened it and used the lid as a spoon. Carol wolfed the soup quickly like there was no tomorrow. After she was finished, she tossed it aside. Then, she began to think what just happened. Carolyn Faye didn't usually act like this. In fact, she was usually kind to people. But the way she had acted around other people from other districts. What happened there Carol?, she asked herself hoping to get an answer. Tomorrow, she would apologize to Marvel and Glimmer. Carolyn got in her sleeping bag and decided to rest for the night.

The following morning, Carolyn decided to skip breakfast since she was full from her dinner. Carol went back to the village in District 1 to look for Marvel and Glimmer.

When Carol reached the village, she couldn't find Marvel or Glimmer anywhere. Where could those 2 tributes from the 74th Hunger Games be?, thought Carol. Carolyn looked over the village. All she could see are people passing by. Carol probably searched the whole day. From looking, she heard her stomach growl. I should have not ditched breakfast, Carol said to herself. But after looking, she finally had found the two. They were sitting on a huge rock at the park. Glimmer had a bandage in her right cheek and Marvel had a cast on his left arm. Did I do this to them?, Carol asked worringly. Anyways, Carol went to where the two were at. When Carolyn approached them, Marvel stood up right away.
"Don't worry," Carol spoke softly which convincingly made Glimmer and Marvel stay still. "I came here to apologize.""I knew you were an apologetic person ever since we've encountered you," Glimmer grinned. "no offense though."
"None taken," Carol said with a grin on her face. "does this mean we're even now?"
Marvel and Glimmer looked at each other for a while and finally the answer was a simple "yes."
"Thank you so much!" Exclaimed Carol as she went to hug the two tightly.
"Suffocating." The two choked out in chorus.
"Sorry." Carol smirked as she broke the hug. The two were breathing heavily.
"Tight hugger," Noted Glimmer. "gotta be careful around those."
Carolyn couldn't help herself but laugh. Glimmer and Marvel sighed happily at the scene of a happy blondie.
"Oh," Carol said interrupting the happy moment. "I'm Marilyn Faith by the way." I just told them my undercover name, Carol thought. Will this fool them about my real name?
"Nice name." The two chorused.
Yes! It worked!, Carol sighed happily. Carol barely knew that the crew members were shooting footage of her because Carolyn wondered what if the Capitol knew she was lying. If she was, she'd bring shame to her district. If people know, the headline on magazines, newspapares, articles, and other devices will say THE LIAR FROM DISTRICT 12: CAROLYN FAITH. If this can fool two people from District 1, this has to fool other people from other districts.
As you can see, I used part of The Hunger Games' sentences. All of that chunk's credit goes to Suzanne Collins. I really loved it how she combined all those words to make one.
