At District 3, the technology dazzled Carol. If only District 12 had these, Carol sighed at her thought.
"Carol." Matilda called out.
"Yes?" Carol said snapping out of her imagination and getting back to reality.
"Are you alright?" Matilda asked worried.
"Yeah!" Carol exclaimed.
"Okay then." Matilda said unsure.
"Uh, Matilda," Carol continued. "can I go wonder off to see some things in this district?"
"Sure Carol," Matilda said. "but don't go too far."
"I won't!," Carol replied. "trust me."

But this time Carol didn't follow. She was near the fence which was secured really well. If only I listened to Matilda, Carol whined. Just then, Carol heard a rustle from one of the bushes near her.
"Is... is... any-anyone... the-the-there?" Carol stammerd. I wish Cato was here right now, Carol gulped.
The male and female tributes of District 3 from the 74th Hunger Games showed themselves.
"Oh," Carol sighed in relief. "it's just you guys."
It was quiet for a while.
"Oh yeah," Carol remembered. "hello there! My name is Carolyn Faye. I'm from District 12."
The word District 12 made the two tributes take slow walks back.
"Don't worry," Carol assured the two. "I won't hurt you guys."
The two citizens of District 3 looked at Carol's grin. She looked nice. And no-violent."Okay." The girl, Lizabeth, piped in.
"We'll trust you." The boy, Evans, told Carol.
"Excellent!," Carol shouted in joy. "but," Carol stopped in her tracks. "may you guys please help me get back?"
The Lizabeth and Evans looked at each other and nodded with a smile.
"Deal." They both chorused.

"Carol, where were you?!" Matilda furiously asked Carolyn.
"I was near the district's fence then I got lost but then these two tributes helped me get back and--." Carol said.
"What do you mean 'these two tributes'?" Asked Matilda.
"Over--" Carol stopped at her tracks. Where were they?, asked Carol. "but. They were just here a moment ago."
"Excuses," Matilda huffed. "if you were lost, we could have gotten a new gal to film. Which means we'll have to delete all of the films we've got you in and start over again."
Ouch! So much for being Carolyn Faye. Why did Capitol people have to act like this?, Carol thought. "I'm really sorry Matilda," Carol apologized. "I didn't mean to do it. Promise."
"I'll forgive you this once," Matilda began. "but one more this happens again and I'll definitely persuade the citizens to get a new girl for film."
"Okay." Was all Carolyn could say.

"Where could they have been?!" Carol asked loudly kicking the door in her room she was assigned in.
The door knocked.
"Come in." Carol shouted.
Carol was suprised. It was the people she was talking about to Matilda.
"Where were you guys?!" Carol asked.
"Sorry." The Lizabeth said.
"We were just scared." The Evans said finishing the girl's sentence.
"It's alright." Carol said.
"You're not mad at us?" The two chorused.
"Yes." Carol said.
The two were shocked.
"A little bit." Carol replied with a giggle.
"Carol!" The Evans and Lizabeth shouted at the same time.
But all Carolyn Faye could do was laugh.
