Tainted Love

Chapter 10

"I don't know. I haven't seen him." I was still sitting in his lap until I finally stood up and opened my door.

We walked downstaris together and sat on the couch. I rested my head against his chest while watching CSI.

The front door opened and slammed shut making me get up and go towards the front door. Ryan took off his shoes and walked calmly into the living room.

Before he saw me I walked back to the couch and sat down. He looked at both of us for a minute before looking away and going to his room.

I cast my eyes downward. What's he so upset about? Shun put his arm around me as I leaned into his chest.

"Does he...hate me now?" Shun looked down at me.

"I'm sure he doesn't hate you." He kissed the top of my head lightly.

"I haven't seen him at all since what happened that day. Also he won't even talk to me." I stood up. "I'll be back in a second." I walked upstairs and went into the restroom locking the door.

I sat on the counter and thought to myself. After a good ten minutes of thinking I hopped off the counter.

I opened the door and was about to walk downstairs. I looked towards Ryan's door. I knocked on his door and he opened it.

When he saw me he almost slammed the door shut but I saw able to slide in. "What do you want?" He looked upset.

"Why are you avoiding me?"

"I'm not avoiding you." He looked down and could tell he was really upset.

"You are. Are you really that upset that I'm dating a guy?"

"No I'm not its just...I wish you could have told me."

"Told you what? Hey I'm dating a guy please let me go out with him. Who says that to their older brother? I know I wouldn't."

"I'm just disappointed that you never told me."

"I tried to before I passed out." I cast my eyes downward and say anything else.

"I'm sorry."

"Huh?" I looked up at him.

"I'm sorry for punching you and everything else." Even though his eyes were closed I could see all his emotions.

"I just wish you could have trusted me more." I opened the door and left. I walked back downstairs and sat right next to Shun.

"What took so long?" He put his arms around me and held me close to him.

"I just had a small chat with Ryan." He ruffled my hair.

"What happened?"

"We just talked about stuff. Can we just leave it at that, I don't want to talk about it." He nodded slowly before giving me a small kiss.

I put my head on his lap. I thought about what Ryan said and fel t tears form in my eyes. It was my fault. I said that when it was really me who should have told him.

It was our day off and I decided to spend it alone. I walked along the sidewalk as I wandered who knows where.

I looked up and saw someone. He was trying to ask directions but people kept walking by him.

I walked up and stared at him for a minute. "Where are you trying to go?" He turned around surprised.

"Here." He showed me a spot on his map and told me what place it was.

"I know where it is. I can show you if you want." He nodded and smiled.

"Thank you." I nodded and started leading the way.

"Here." I showed him the place and he smiled.

"Thank you again."

"I have a question. You look underage so what business do you have at a bar?" I raised an eyebrow and he laughed.

"My family owns the place."

"Did not see that one coming." I mumbled lowly and he looked at me confused. "I better get going."

"Wait, do you want to get something to drink. As a thank you I mean. We have regular drinks too so if you want one please feel free to buy something." Ibstared at him for a minute.

"I guess I could hang out for a bit." I shoved my hands in my pockets. He led me inside and we sat down at the bar.

"Get anything you want. I'll pay for it."

"Its fine I can buy it myself." He shook his head.

"I'd feel bad. Besides you really helped me today. Just take it as a thanks."

"Well if you insist." He smiled and showed me what drinks they had. In the end I just got water.

He went to the bartender and told him what I wanted. The man nodded and immediately walked in the back.

"Who was he?"

"My brother. He's old enough to work here now." I slowly nodded and after a few minutes he cane out with my water.

I picked it up and drank it. I started to feel dizzy two minutes afterwards. "Hey, you okay?"

"I just feel a little dizzy." My vision went blurry then black.
