Chapter 6

The next day I was feeling a lot better and got to school early. Shun and Adam were already there, except I didn't even look at Adam.

Shun had already beat him up for yesterday. "Kei!!!" Minami threw her arms around me.

"I was soo worried."

"Yes yes we all know you were worried about him." Akino grabbed Minami by the collar and pulled her off of me.

Before class started, Shun brung me to an abandoned club room. He said he wanted to talk about yesterday.

I walked in and he was already there. "Umm what did you want to talk about?"

"Its...about yesterday."

"Ah I'm really sorry. It was my fever." I could feel my face burning.

"Its not that. Its already okay. What I wanted to talk to you about was..." Shun walked over to me and but his hand on my cheek.

He lifted my head up slightly and stared at me. "Don't let anyone else touch you."

"Eh?" He leaned down and kissed me. I stood there entranced in the kiss. He slipped his tongue inside my mouth and played with my tongue.

He sat me on a desk again and kept kissing me. He started to kiss down my neck when I blurted out the thing I wanted to keep in.

"Shun, I love you." He stopped and stared at me surprised.

I finally realized what I said and my face flushed red. "Ummm...that's not...that isn't what I meant...umm...I'm sorry." I jumped off the desk and ran out of the room.

I could hear Shun calling me but I didn't listen. Why? Why did I blurt that out? I'm so stupid. I ran out the front doors to the school and ran all the way to the park.

"I can't believe I said it." I covered my eyes.

"Kei? Shouldn't you be in school?" I looked back and Hana stood there. "Hey are you okay? Your crying."

"I don't know what to do." I covered my eyes and she walked over sitting on the swing next to me.

"What happened?"

"I told him. I told Shun how I feel but now I cant even face him."

"Did you hear his reply?"

"No. But I'm pretty sure he's gonna reject me after that." She sighed and shook her head.

"Your too negative."

"Shun isn't in love with guys. He's straight. I'm not."

"Oh child, there are many thing you don't know about Shun."

"What do you mean and who're you calling child?"

"Shun isn't straight. He likes guys too y'know." My face completely went into shock mode. He what!?

"Since when!? I don't remember him ever being gay!"

"Since you entered middle school. He started to develop feelings for a certain guy but he's kept them secret."

I remember what happened five minutes ago. Did he...think of me as a replacement? For the guy he likes? I felt pain spread through my chest.

"D...do you know who he has feelings for?"

"Hmmm nope. Dunno."

"Well I better get home and you better go back to school." I nodded and got up.

"I'll see you later." I walked off into the direction of my school. I'm a replacement? Is that what he thinks of me as?

I got back to school and held out till break time. Shun tried to talk to me but I always found an excuse to leave.
