Capítulo I- Boliche
As promised, Ben and Pandora cancelled their plans for today. It was the day after the cotillion and Ben was on his way to pick Pandora up. Meanwhile, Lonnie applied mascara on Pandora's lashes.
Pandora glanced up, careful not to shut her eye. Unfortunately, she batted a lash and Lonnie smeared mascara on her eyelid. Lonnie studied the girl, "Are you okay? I haven't seen you this nervous since you met my mom."
Pandora lightly chuckled at the memory of her star-struck in Mulan's presence. "Sorry, I'm kind of nervous because of what happened three days ago."
"It's okay to be nervous. Sometimes it's a good thing."
"But what if it's the bad kind of nervous. What if we never fix our relationship?"
Lonnie dipped a q-tip into makeup remover. Pandora closed her eyes as she wiped the mascara off her eyelid. "You never will if you don't try. And you kinda already had your true loves kiss so that helps."
Pandora laughed, "That's true. But not everyone's relationship is perfect."
"Of course, even my parents sometimes have their ups and downs. But as long as you communicate, understand and respect each other, and obviously love each other, then you're settled."
"Right."
"Don't worry, I'm sure your date with Ben will turn out great."
"Thanks, Lonnie."
"You're welcome." A light knock hit their dorm's door. "That must be Ben." Lonnie pushed Pandora forward.
Pandora sent her a look, then dismissed her. She swung the door open and immediately met eyes with Ben. He wore his usual warm smile on his lips. "Hey, Pandora." He peered behind her, "Hi, Lonnie."
"Hey, Ben," she replied.
Ben returned his gaze back to Pandora, "Are you ready?"
She smiled, "Yeah, I'm ready."
He brought his arm out and Pandora hooked her arm with his, together they strolled out. She took one last glance back at Lonnie. Lonnie sent her a thumbs up before closing the door.
Ben asked, "Have you ever been bowling?"
Pandora's mouth twisted, "Yeah, if you count the times I played in my room alone with my magic. Bowling is easy."
Ben grabbed her hand and swung their hands together. "Easy?"
"Yes, you don't believe me?"
"I do, it just took me a long time to learn how to bowl."
Pandora teased, "Maybe, bowling isn't the sport for you."
