Capítulo VII- Confrontación
Jude always had something to say, tonight he bit back his tongue before he would say something he would regret. He did not want to start an argument between himself and Pandora when they rode and Lilith and Leighton's backs to Auradon Prep.
Above Auradon Prep, a cloud of black sand circled the castle and lightning crackled in the storm. It would've been pitch-black if it weren't for the lamposts lighting up the pathways, fading in and out.
"What's our plan of attack?" Jude asked Pandora. They halted at the rim of the cloud and night sky.
"I need to have a small chat with my father."
Audrey and Pitch waited for Pandora and Jude at the main entrance side by side. Audrey had the sceptre in her hands and Pitch had his hands clasped together behind his back, both of their gazes boring to Pandora and Jude.
They got off their horse and commenced to Audrey and Pitch who began walking towards them. Lilith and Leighton were turned to sand. They met together in the middle. "Did you like my little show, Pandora?" Pitch smirked, motioning his hand to the sky.
Pandora shifted, "How long have you been plotting this?"
"Long enough and with the help of my new acquaintance, it was much easier."
"You had to pick the least experienced one."
Audrey pouted, "Oh, I'm sorry, Pandora. Was this not enough? How about now?" she mockingly asked, pointing the sceptre to the castle tower.
The nightmares closed in on Celia and she popped out of the corner she hid in. "Jude! Pandora!" she screamed from above. Jude's forehead creased and attempted to move but Pandora stopped him.
"Audrey, why don't you give us some space and accompany Celia," Pitch told her. Audrey didn't question anything and disappeared leaving a trail of smoke behind.
"Why? Out of all people, why Audrey?"
Pitch sighed, "You're smart, Pandora. Figure it out, she was an angry girl."
Pandora furrowed her brows, "Did you corrupt her?"
"No, she took the sceptre herself, I merely encouraged it."
"Jude! Pandora!" Celia shouted again. Audrey held her close with a wicked smile, toying Celia with the nightmares.
Jude stepped forward, "Celia has nothing to do with this, all right. Let her go."
"Ugh, Jude Frost. You and your father have a bad habit of interfering. But I'll let it slide just this once, I'll be needing you for later," Pitch darkly chuckled. Black sand circled Pandora and Jude's feet. The sand drew away from them, gathering underneath Pitch's feet. A sinister grin appeared on his lips and he floated away.
