Mechanic Shop Berlin, Germany
Tracking Sam Wilson from the CIA building to an abandoned mechanics garage on the edge of Berlin was easy for Marcella. His disguise, the signature baseball cap and hoodie was too easy to spot. She followed him as he bought two burner phones and then got onto a bus.
When she arrived, she didn't want to scare them so she stayed outside the building to hear what they were talking about. She didn't want to speak to them until she knew Bucky was safe and she'd be too.
Marcella heard the concern for Bucky from Steve and the way Barnes was being so honest, she took the leap of faith. She trusted Bucky, and if he trusted the Avengers she would try too.
"Because he's not the only Winter Soldier." She finally spoke from the shadows, finishing Bucky's words for him.
The men looked at her, recognizing her. She raised her hands, trying to show that she was not a threat. "Hi."
"I think nows the right time to explain who your friend is, Bucky." Sam said to him without moving his eyes off her. His eyes didn't intimidate her much though.
Bucky motioned for Marcella to come in with the flick of his fingers and she walked over to him slowly. "This is Marcella. Another Hydra experiment."
Marcella went over to Steve and extended her hand. He looked at her, up and down. He recalled how she fought for and protected Bucky back in Bucharest, and then with the helicopter. He heard her scream Bucky's real name after he went down Bucky. He decided to shake her hand and he felt her strong grip.
"It's an honour, Captain." She smiled genuinely, hoping slightly that she was able to make a better impression this time.
"Call me Steve."
"Maybe," she smiles then walks over to Sam and shook his hand too. "It's nice to meet you, Mr. Wilson. I wanted to thank you both for helping me in Bucharest first," She turned her head back to Steve, "and then before Barnes decided to take a big splash with a helicopter."
That earned a small smile from the Avengers, but a frown from Bucky.
"Marcella came to me the night before you guys found me in Bucharest." Bucky continued and they made eye contact, "She was warning me that someone was trying to track me down."
"The same person who bombed the UN and activated the Winter Soldier here?" Steve questioned.
"Yes. He has the book that can commands all the Winter Soldiers. He stole it from and killed my old Handler, Vasily Karpov at his hideout in Cleveland. And he used the words on Bucky in the CIA building." Marcella confirmed.
