Marcella sat in the back of the blue 1965 Volkswagen Beetle. The car wasn't big enough for four people, especially not three super soldiers and one shredded normal person. The men, mostly Steve and Sam were going on about the baseball game that was on a week ago.

"Can we put the windows down?" Marcella interrupts the chat, "You men stink."

It was summer. All of them were sweating. The AC was non-existent and Bucky and Steve had just fallen in a river. God knows was the water was like.

"That's just the greaseball sitting beside you," Sam snapped back, picking fun at Bucky who sat behind him. Bucky immediately got defensive and started glaring.

Marcella rolled her eyes at the men and looked at Steve in the mirror, who was smiling.

"Steve fell in the river too. It's not just me." Bucky punched Steve's seat a little, while glaring holes into the back of Sam's head.

Steve stopped smiling, "Hey! Don't drag me into this."

Marcella let her head drop and hit the window as the chaos dragged on. "Jesus Christ!" She whines, "Are we almost there yet?" Bucky's attention turned to her and he chuckled at her whiny voice. "What?" Her head snapped towards him. "Why are you laughing at me?"

Bucky just shook his head at her. Marcella huffed and tried to ignore him.

Steve finally put down his window a little bit and Marcella dramatically sighed.

"Few more minutes till we meet them," he declared.

"Thank god."

"That's Steve."

"You're not funny, Barnes!"

They all laughed at her but she couldn't care not when he got her attention. The annoyance slipped away too easily seeing that smile spread across Bucky's face. Gosh, it was pretty the way his crow's feet lines would form on the sides of his big blues. He'd always been so handsome but when he was smiling it was just something special. She couldn't help but stare until he noticed, then she dropped back into her glare and turned away.

Marcella leaned back against the seat and watched the streets pass by. Finally, the tiny car pulled under a bridge. Steve drove along the road until they parked behind another car. When the owner of the car got out, so did Steve. Marcella recognized the blonde hair. It was Agent Sharon Carter, the woman who interrogated her.

"Sharon Carter's our inside man?" Marcella whispered to Sam.

He nodded and Bucky's eyebrows narrowed, "Carter?"

Sam nodded again. "As is Peggy Carter's niece."

Marcella looked over at Bucky, wondering what he was thinking about. Who was Peggy? She turned her attention back to Steve and Sharon.

Sharon opened the trunk of her car and let Steve take out the Shield, the Falcon wings and Marcella noticed that Sharon had also packed them a bag of clothes. She sighed in relief. The CIA had given Marcella nothing to change into, so she was still wearing the broken jeans that were being held up by her gun holster. Thankfully they just removed her weaponry and didn't take the makeshift belt too, even though it was kind of stupid on their part. Marcella could take down 10 men with a pencil,  imagine what she could do with a belt. They didn't need to know.

Sharon looked into the car, noticing Marcella. She nodded to her then turned back to Steve.

"Can you move your seat up?" The deep voice beside her asked Sam.

"No."

Bucky glared at him again and Marcella giggled at his frustration. Bucky was about to say something snarky to her when Steve suddenly pulled Sharon into a kiss.
All went silent in the car.
