"Oh my God! What happened to your faces?!"

Oliver and Jackson returned to Andrew's dorm, scaring the absolute shit out of Andrew.

Both their faces were bruised and scratched, making it look like they just barely won a fight. Which, technically, they did.

"Nothing much," Oliver shrugged. "Jack tripped down the stairs and tried to grab onto my arm before he fell, but ended up dragging me down with him," Oliver explained, ignoring the look Jack gave him.

"Why the hell did you make me seem like a clumsy idiot?" He whispered so only Oliver could hear it. "Because you are a clumsy idiot," Oliver whispered back.

"Oh my God. Come here, you fucking idiots." Andrew grabbed a small towel and wet it a little before stepping over to Jackson and wiping the scratches. "What are you doing?" Jack asked. He was trying his best to ignore how close Andrew is.

"Cleaning those stupid scratches so they don't get infected and you don't die," Andrew explained. Oliver chuckled, saying, "I don't really think that's how it works."

After Andrew cleaned up Jack, he moved on to Oliver. The brunette boy tried his hardest to control the blush threatening to form on his face.

"I can't believe you morons are my best friends," Andrew smiled, jokingly sighing out loud. Oliver and Jackson smiled back at him. "But you know you love us," Jack grinned.

"Somehow, I do."

"CAN YOU BELIEVE THOSE FUCKING ASSHOLES?"

Derek went back to his and Nolan's shared dorm, very pissed off. "Oh my gosh! Der! What happened to you!?" Nolan gasped, running over to his boyfriend. "Andrew's stupid friends beat me up for no reason..." Derek faked a sad expression, succeeding my making his boyfriend feel bad for him.

"Oh, that's awful!" Nolan quickly got a wet paper towel to clean the dried-up blood on his upper lip.

Nolan reminded himself after he was done taking care of Derek to go and talk to Andrew. Actually, he's been meaning to talk to him for a while. It just seemed like Andrew didn't like him in the way Derek said he did.

"His friends have always been doing this type of stuff," Derek explained, pretending to wipe tears from his eyes. "Are you serious?" Nolan questions in disbelief. He didn't think anyone would constantly be doing horrible stuff to someone else.

"I've tried a few times to talk to Andrew about it, but... he's just grown to... close to them, and he never believes me!" Derek was very convincing. Nolan believed every lie coming out of his mouth. "And once... I saw them trying to... kiss him."

Nolan's eyes widened.

"They tried to get him to cheat on me..." Derek sniffed, inwardly smirking as Nolan's concern grew. "I'll talk to him tomorrow about this!" Nolan promised, hugging Derek.

Derek never was the type to enjoy hugs. He'd always push Andrew away if he ever tried. But he let Nolan do it.

"I love you, Derek. And I really hate seeing you so hurt." Nolan frowned, wanted to make Derek happy.

"You know what would really make me happy, baby?" Derek asked, placing his hand on Nolan's thigh.

Nolan smiled. Nolan didn't really want sex right now, but if it made Derek feel better, he would do it.

The next morning, Nolan walked to a local cafe near the school. Derek asked him to get a chocolate chip cookie for him, and there was no way he couldn've said no.

He walked into the cafe, standing in line. There were about five people in front of him. He sighed to himself. He really didn't want to make Derek wait long.

Then, someone behind him accidentally bumped into him. "Watch it," Nolan snapped before realizing who it was.

It was that guy from the restaurant, the one who looked oddly familiar. Taking a closer look, he recognized where he remembered him from.

It was that guy who had a crush on him years ago. The one who his old friend told him about.

Paul...? Peter? Patrick. It was Patrick.

Patrick didn't recognize him. Nolan looked different than he did back then. He even looked different from the date.

"Sorry," Patrick apologized, yawning. "What's with you?" Nolan asked, not caring if it sounded rude. "I had a long shift last night," Patrick began, rubbing his eyes. "And every customer was acting like a bitch..."

Nolan started to laugh but quickly stopped himself. "Oh wait, this is the wrong place," Patrick groaned, slapping his forehead. "Crud. I'm supposed to be at my 7/11 shift right now! Uh- sorry for bothering you..." Patrick didn't know this guy's name, so he trailed off.

"Nolan."

Patrick froze for a moment. "Nolan?" He echoed dumbly.

Nolan nodded, waiting for a reaction.

Patrick felt his heartbeat speeding up.

Crap! How could he be so... so stupid? He should've realized who this was! This is Andrew's boyfriend! He can't possibly still...

Patrick opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out.

Patrick didn't know what to do, so he ran out. He sprinted speedily and didn't stop until he was at 7/11.

'Fuck' was the last thing on his mind.
