Chapter four

Patrick ^

Sorry, this chapter took long to get out- I was busy a lot and I didn't have time to work on my story- AND THE COVER IS REALLY MAKING ME MAD CAUSE I FEEL LIKE ITS NEEDS SOMETHING ON THE BOTTOM BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT...        onto the le story now :>

Andrew-

I watch as Derek takes Nolan's hand and leads him into the restaurant. I silently walk behind them, wondering why I even agreed to go with them. "So Andrew! How was your day?" Nolan asks. His positive energy lighting up the room. "Fantastic," I reply dryly. He looks hurt for a split second before smiling again. "That's awesome! I'm so happy you had a great day!" I clench my fists under the table and mentally smack myself for coming. 

"Hello my name is Patrick and I'll be your waiter for today!"

A chipper voice snaps me back to reality. I look up and see a red-head with green eyes grinning at us. "We will have two cheeseburgers and one vanilla milkshake please," Derek says, handing him his menu. Aw... he ordered for himself and me! Maybe he- "Oh, did you want something Andrew?" Derek asks, pushing a menu my way. I stare at it and try to control myself. Of course... he ordered for himself and Nolan. Why am I not surprised... I'll have a cheeseburger too, and lemonade, please" I say. "Coming right up!" Patrick writes our orders down and walks off to the kitchen. 

There's something about Patrick that makes me not as annoyed about being here... he seems friendly but... in a not as annoying way as Nolan is. "So Andrew, how long have you and Derek been together?" Nolan asks, trying to get over the awkward silence. "Can't remember." That's not true. I've memorized it because it used to make me happy. Keyword used to. But I'm feeling salting today. "Actually Nolan,  Derek, and I have been together for six years. By ourselves. We were the perfect couple! Unbothered by any...pests, and other people! We were the happiest couple all by ourselves!" I say, my voice dripping with negativity. Derek looks shocked at my outburst and Nolan looks uncomfortable. "O-oh... well that's nice...!" Nolan puts a big smile on his face but it's smaller. 

"Nolan, I need to go talk with Andrew, be right back." Derek grabs my arm and drags me to the men's bathroom. "What the heck Andrew? Are you TRYING to make him uncomfortable or not want to date me- us?" He hisses. I roll my eyes. "I didn't do anything Der-Der. I simply answered his question of how long we were dating," If we were in a cartoon, Der would have smoke coming out of his ears. "Don't call me Der-Der. And you were SO RUDE TO HIM, HOW COULD YOU SAY YOU WEREN'T?" He snaps. Now I'm just annoyed. "I wasn't rude Der, I was JUST ANSWERING HIS QUESTION. And you let HIM call you Der-Der so why can't I? I'm your boyfriend, after all, you haven't even officially made him your boyfriend." I snap back. "MY BOYFRIEND? ANDREW, AFTER TONIGHT... HE'S GOING TO BE YOUR BOYFRIEND TOO" Derek whisper yells. I glare at him. "Go choke on a dick..." I push the bathroom door open and walk back to my table. 

On the way there, I crash into Patrick who is holding plates of food on his hands and arms. "Oh sorry, sir!" Patrick says, regaining the balance he had on the food. "No no, I'm sorry Parick, I should've watched where I was going..." I sighed. "It's fine! I was heading to your table anyway!" "Awesome!" I never thought I would like someone so cheerful as Patrick in my life, but he seems just so- different from Nolan, you know? Like in a not-trying-to-steal-my-boyfriend way.

"Well here's your table-..." He trails off looking at me. "Andrew, my name's Andrew," I say. " "Well here's your table Andrew! Bye-bye!" I wave to him as he puts the food on our table and walks away. Derek beat me to the table. I sit down, smiling, and Nolan stares at me. So... you and the waiter seem to be friendly." He says, visibly annoyed. I use this to my advantage. "Yeah, he's just so cheerful and friendly! I say. "He's also incredibly sweet!" I exclaim. Derek glares at me and for the first time, Nolan seems to be aggravated. "Well. I'm glad you and that waiter are becoming friends. He does seem nice. Not that I've ever met anyone who could be more cheerful or friendly. Or possibly sweeter." He says, clearly hinting at himself. I roll my eyes and turn on my phone.

Hey Drew, I hope you're having a good time with Derek and Nolan. I can't possibly think of anywhere else I'd like to be if I were in that situation. Definitely wouldn't rather stick my head in a shart tank while it's coated in hamburger juices.

After reading his text I start uncontrollably laughing. He's just so- vague when it comes to mentioning me on dates with Derek! And apparently Nolan as well.

LMAO- Hey Oli. And it's fine, this date sucks ass anyway...

He texts back quickly. Oli isn't one of those people who will leave a text on read and reply like an hour later.

I chuckle to myself as I put my phone into my pocket, talking to Oliver is always fun... I wish I could be hanging out with Him and Jack instead of being here...
