When Andrew came back to his dorm the next day, he saw a brand new phone lying on his bed with a sticky note attached to it. Andrew reached out to grab it, his hand halting above the phone when he saw the note. It read: 'Was going to surprise you with it to make up for the date but you never came back.'

Andrew instantly felt horrible. His boyfriend got him a new phone to make up for yesterday's date, and Andrew didn't even come to the dorm. He took the phone off the bed and found out that Derek already put his number in it.

He tried to call Derek three times, but each time he was sent straight to voicemail. Either Derek was ignoring him, or he just didn't have his phone on him. Andrew groaned, falling back on his bed. He stared at the ceiling wishing he had just gone to Derek last night instead of disregarding him.

Since he didn't have anything interesting to do, he added his friend's and family's numbers to his new phone, still feeling very guilty about Derek. After about an hour of Andrew installing apps on his phone and playing games, Derek came into the room.

"Derek!" Andrew smiled. He would try and do anything for Derek to forgive him for last night.

"We need to talk," Derek spoke coldly, making Andrew's practically heart stop. "A-about what?" He squeaked. He hoped to God that Derek wasn't going to break up with him. Derek glared at him as if Andrew was a moron. "I'm fucking sick of those shithead friends of yours. It's time for you to choose. Them, or me."

Andrew's eyes widened. "What?!" He exclaimed but shut up quickly when Derek narrowed his eyes. "Don't fucking raise your voice at me," He spat. "Either you have a great boyfriend or some crappy friends." Andrew wanted to cry, but he held it in. "You- You can't do this to me..." Andrew whispered, and Derek just scoffed. "I can do whatever the fuck I want. You have until the end of the day to pick. Make the right choice." With that, Derek walked out of the dorm, slamming the door.

Andrew fell on his knees, crying into his hands. He didn't want to pick between the people he cared about the most.

He couldn't focus during his classes because Derek, Jack, and Oliver were the only things on his mind the entire day. All he could think about was how much he loved and cared for all of them and couldn't imagine being without them.

He, Oliver, and Jack had been friends for the longest time, they had so much history Andrew didn't want them to think their friendship was meaningless to him. But, he only just got Derek back, and he really loved him a lot.

Andrew sighed quietly to himself as the teacher dismissed the students. Andrew was done for the day so he planned to sleep in his room until Derek came to find hind. He trudged the halls, lost in thought, only snapping back into reality when he accidentally bumped into someone.

"Sor-" Andrew cut off when he saw who it was. "Hey, Andrew!" Oliver smiled. Andrew nervously swallowed. "Hey," He replied, looking at the ground. "You good, dude?" Oliver asked, sensing something was up with Andrew.

Andrew snapped his eyes up to look at his friend. '"No, why?" He said it quickly, but nonchalantly, and Oliver could tell something wasn't right. He said goodbye to the people he was talking to and walked with Andrew to his dorm. Andrew assumed Oliver also finished his classes.

"You can talk to me, you know. Jack too," Oliver said and Andrew hesitated before answering. "I know." He so desperately wanted to talk to Jack and him about it but he knew what they would say.

When they reached the dorm, Andrew just stood in front of the door. He didn't know if Derek was already in there, and Andrew didn't want to see him right now. "Are you gonna go in or...?" Oliver asked, standing awkwardly beside Andrew.

"I am." Andrew crossed his fingers and pushed open the door, sighing in relief when he saw it was empty. Andrew and Oliver sat on Andrew's be in silence for a few minutes. "You wanna talk about it now?" Oliver asked. He didn't want to seem nosey or pushy but he hated seeing Andrew down.

"Derek is making me choose between him and you and Jack," Andrew confessed softly, barely above a whisper. Oliver didn't speak for a second. "What?" He asked because to him it sounded like Derek was making him choose. "Derek is making me choose between my friends or him," Andrew repeated, still softly, but a bit louder.

"Oh my God." Oliver cursed under his breath. "I- I don't want to choose!" Andrew cried. "Is it selfish of me to want you guys and him?" Tears were falling down Andrew's face. Andrew felt it was pointless trying to hold them in anymore. It hurt Oliver's heart seeing Andrew like this. But at the same time, he was more than pissed at Derek for making Andrew feel this way.

"What do I do?" Andrew wanted help so bad. He just wanted someone to give him a clear answer. Oliver nervously scratched the back of his neck. "I can't be the one to tell you. Just listen to your heart."

Listen to his heart? But his heart was telling him he wanted both options. His heart loved Derek and his friends. He couldn't give any of them up.

"But my heart wants Derek and you guys. Derek said I could any have one." Andrew wiped his eyes as Oliver blushed. "But it's not up to Derek what you do to be happy," Oliver said, finding more and more reasons every day to hate Derek.

Andrew thought about that for a minute. "Could we just hang out and call Jack to come over?" Andrew asked. He knew in his heart who to pick, but he didn't want to risk hurting either Derek or Jack and Oliver.

'Listen to your heart,' Andrew thought. But how could he listen to his heart if his heart couldn't decide either?

I know I said it would be longer, and it is :) only by a little but still longer- It took a bit long to post because yesterday I had my HSPT test thing to get into a Catholic high school(I think that's what it's for-). I was also busy touring high schools and deciding my top first, second, and third high schools, which was HORRIBLY difficult because I can't decide for shit.
Literally, sometimes I can't decide what I want for lunch and people are expecting me to choose where I want to go for F O U R YEARS? In the end, though, I did pick my top three and I'm pretty satisfied with them lol.
