Yet another short chapter because I'm PLANNING to make twenty-seven longer.

Andrew was sitting on the floor of Jack and Oliver's dorm when he got a call from Derek.

"Hey, baby, sorry I left suddenly at our date. That girl just asked me to help set up a room for a party that was happening later," Derek said, lying through his teeth but assuming Andrew wouldn't realize. "You were?" Andrew asked, feeling just a bit more hopeful that Derek was changing. He had thought Derek might've been cheating, but he was glad his boyfriend was helping people.

"Yep. How about you come back to the dorm, and I'll make it up to you," Derek flirtily suggested, smirking even though Andrew couldn't see it. Andrew hesitated. Is Derek implying what I think he's implying? After... what he did? Andrew swallowed nervously. If Derek was hinting at sex, Andrew didn't know if he could do that. Especially so soon. "Andrew?" Derek asked when Andrew paused for too long.

His silence also caught the attention of Jack and Oliver, who moments before were watching some tv show together. "I- uh- I'll see you later!" Andrew blurted out, hanging up and quickly throwing his phone down.

"You okay?" Oliver asked before Andrew shook his head. "Nothing, it's fine." Andrew forced a smile, but his friends saw right through it.

"Did Derek call you?" Jack asked. Andrew nodded, desperate to change the subject. "But he didn't want anything. You guys want to watch a movie?" Andrew got up and snatched the remote from Jack's hand, scrolling through Netflix to find something. It was obvious Jack wanted to ask more but Andrew clicked on a random movie, cutting Jack off.

Oliver gave Andrew a weird look. "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2?" He asked. "Did you even see the first one?" Andrew didn't, but he didn't care. He put the volume up and stared at the screen, handing the remote back to Jack.

Andrew didn't go back to his dorm that night. He sent a quick text to Derek saying he wasn't coming back for the night then turned off his phone. Oliver offered to let Andrew sleep on his bed, and he'd just take the sleeping bag out of his closet. Andrew denied Oliver's offer and said, "It's fine, you take the bed." Andrew grabbed the sleeping bag out of the closet, laying it down on the floor in front of the beds.

Andrew was staring at the ceiling for hours that night. The only thing he could think about was Derek, and right now all he wanted to do was forget him. At least for a few minutes. Andrew tensed as he heard a bed creak, and Jackson knelt down beside him. "Andrew, you up?" Jack whispered. It was loud enough so Andrew could hear it, but quiet enough that Oliver wouldn't be disturbed.

"Yeah, why?" Andrew whispered back, mentally slapping himself for not realizing he could've stayed quiet and Jack would've assumed he wasn't awake. "Can't sleep. You okay?" Jack asked. "I'm fine," Andrew muttered, snapping his head towards Oliver when he hears his bed creak.

Jack hesitated before asking, "Why did you stay with him?" Andrew lowers his head. He didn't have an answer for that. "I don't mean to be nosey, sorry if I came off like that." Jack's face redded as he awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck. "I just want to make sure you're alright."

"He apologized, he seemed sincere. I think- no, I know he can change." Andrew didn't make eye contact, staring holes into the floor. "Do you think he was lying?" Jack softly asked, earning a glare from Andrew. "He wouldn't. He- he wouldn't use me like that. He apologized and told me he loves me, and I know he's telling the truth!" Andrew clenched his fists, hating how it sounded like he was trying to convince himself, not Jack.

Jack's shoulders slumped. "Alright," He said, walking back to his bed, leaving Andrew awake, going back to staring at the ceiling.

Andre shut his eyes, trying to forget his and Jacks' talk seconds before. Derek wouldn't betray him like this, he just apologized.

Andrew had the worst sleep of his life that night.

Okay, for real, I PROMISE chapter twenty-seven WILL be longer. I just wanted to get this chapter out before I forget and leave the story unfinished for another month-
