After MONTHS of not having a book description, I finally made it. It's stupid and cringy as hell, but somehow, it's okay.
Now here's another nice little Nolan chapter before the s̶h̶i̶t̶ fun stuff starts in the next chapter.

Nolan slowly stepped into his dorm, seeing Derek lying on his bed, looking at his phone.

"Uhm... Derek...? Can I talk to you...?" Nolan asked weakly. He was nervous. Andrew told Nolan all the shit Derek has done to him, and Nolan really didn't want anything like that to happen again.

"Derek... I'm breaking up with you and Andrew."

It was silent for a minute before Derek answered.

Without looking up from his phone, he replied, "No."

"N-No?" Nolan asked, backing up slightly. Derek noticed the blonde boy moving away, so he placed down his phone. "I said no. Why do you want to break up?" Nolan swallowed before standing up straight and speaking confidently. "I... I don't love you guys anymore."

Derek narrowed his eyes at Nolan. "That's bullshit, baby. You still love m- us." Derek started to sit up, making Nolan a bit more anxious. "I'm sorry. I've just... fallen out of love with you guys..." Nolan looked at his feet, worried making eye contact would make Derek angry.

Derek's eyes widened. "It was those bitchy friends of Andrews', wasn't it?" He asked. "They manipulated you into thinking I'm the bad guy here!" Derek smiled like he just uncovered a big mystery.

"Derek... Jack and Oliver are actually nice guys." Nolan saw Derek's smile drop and his fists clench. "The hell are you talking about?" He hissed, walking closer to Nolan, who backed away until he was at the door. He kept his hand on the door handle in case Derek tried anything.

"If you just gave them a chance and stopped being so jealous and, honestly, moronic about it, you might get along with them!" The words tumbled out of Nolan's mouth before he could stop them. Nolan squeaked, quickly bring his hands to cover his mouth. As if that would take the words back.

Derek looked taken aback for a second before staring furiously at Nolan. "The hell did you say?" He hissed dangerously.

Nolan's face paled before he practically threw the door open. "I'M SORRY!" He called out, running down the hall to get as far away from Derek as he possibly could.

Nolan didn't know where to go now. His clothes and various other items were still in his dorm, and he was too afraid to go and get them. At least he had his phone and his charger. He always keeps it in his jeans pocket to always make sure he had a good battery percentage.

'At least it can't get any worse,' He thought.

And that's when the first drop of water hit his arm.

"Oh, come on..." He muttered.

In about five minutes, it was pouring, and Nolan had to run into whatever building he found first, hoping he could wait in it until the rain stopped.

Once he was inside, he looked around to see what he walked into. It looked like a convenience store. Maybe a 7-. Oh. Oh, wait.

"Nolan?"

Patrick was sweeping the floors, looking at the blonde with a weird expression. "Why do we always seem to run into each other?" He asks, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. Things were still very awkward between the two.
