I didn't notice Diego calling my name as I stormed out of the office and ran to who knows where. I still wasn't familiar with Feather Crown. I ended up turning corners and walking into people. I was still crying, so I was sure I looked like a mess. Where is it? Let me get to my room, please.
Suddenly, I felt like I was spinning and no longer than 3 seconds later, I was sitting on the floor. Of my dorm. I looked around slowly and noticed Steph was sitting on her bed, staring at me.
"Did you just... teleport into the room?" she demanded, standing up.
"I honestly don't know what happened. I just... ended up here," I answered.
Steph walked closer to me and narrowed her eyes. "Listen up. Everyone may think you're incredibly special but I don't. You should know the rules. No using your powers unless it's in class, with permission. Are you trying to get us in trouble?"
I shook my head. "No, not at all. I don't know how I got here. Seriously. Also, I don't think I'm special, either. I'm more of an outcast here."
"Good, I guess we agree on something," Steph said. "Classes start in five. I suggest you don't be late."
I received my schedule last night, along with some belongings that had been retrieved at my house. My first class was Teleportation in room 105. No idea where that was. I grabbed the backpack I had received the night before and headed out of the room. I walked down the hall to the main foyer, where a lot of students were wandering around, chatting with their friends. Please, let me get to room 105 in time. After that thought, I began to spin. Oh boy.
I landed in the Teleportation classroom, standing at the front of the class. Every single student looked at me. I turned and immediately saw the teacher, an older man, wide-eyed. But not only him, Diego had just walked in the door. While other girls beamed at him, I turned my head, hoping he wouldn't notice me.
"Oh my! Welcome! You teleported into Teleportation class, didn't you?" the teacher said, rather cheerily.
The teacher walked up to me. "May I talk to you outside, Miss Southland?" he whispered to me. I nodded and followed him. On my way out, I noticed students pointing at me and whispering between themselves. Diego was one of the only people there who didn't.
"Clover, were you informed that you can't teleport in school unless any teacher has agreed to it?"
"I'm sorry. I had no idea how that happened," I gushed.
He nodded. "I understand. We'll work on controlling your ability. Meanwhile, I'm Mr. Tropleet. I hope you like my class."
