CALLIE's POV

"Callista"

Si Kuya agad ang unang bumungad sa akin ng magising ako.

"How are you feeling?-- Wait, I'm just gonna call Mama and Papa" sabi niya atsaka dali-daling lumabas ng kwarto.

Inilibot ko ang tingin ko-- nandito ako sa kwarto ko?

Unti-unting bumalik ang lahat ng nangyari. The trip, the fire, Kuya saving me-- Axel!

Bigla akong kinabahan, alam niya na kaya? Oh God, this is not my plan, ako dapat ang mismong nagsabi sa kaniya pero sasabihin ko naman talaga sa kaniya.

Sasabihin ko naman sana but the fire happened.

Napalingon ako sa pintuan ng pumasok si Kuya kasama sila Mama at Papa.

Kinabahan ako ng makita ko si Papa , I'm pretty sure that he already knows what me and Kuya did. I'm already worried about Axel and now I'm scared because Papa is really scary when he's angry .

Agad na lumapit sa akin si Mama at naupo sa gilid ng higaan ko, she held my hand and caress my head gently.

"Are you okay anak?" Mama asked worriedly.

"Does anything hurt, anak?" sunod na tanong naman sa akin ni Papa na naka-pwesto sa paanan ng kama ko katabi si Kuya.

Hindi pa ako nakakasagot ng muling magsalita si Papa, he called someone on the phone-- I think it's my doctor.

While Papa was talking with my doctor Mama asked me if I want something, I told her that I want water because my throat feels really dry. Agad niya naman akong inalalayan na umupo at sumandal sa headboard ng kama ko atsaka niya ako inabutan ng tubig.

"What did her doctor say?" Mama asked when Papa finished talking with Doctor Cordero.

"Doctor Cordero said he'll be here in fifteen to twenty minutes" Papa answered.

Papa moved her gaze to Mama "Can I have a private talk with Callista?"

Nagkatinginan si Mama at Kuya bago tumango si Mama kay Papa, tumayo si Mama mula sa pagkakaupo niya sa kama ko.

Lumabas na sila ng kwarto ko at sobrang bilis ng tibok ng puso ko ng kaming dalawa na lang ni Papa ang nandito.

"I know what you and your brother did," he said while looking outside the window.

I just kept quiet because I don't know what to say and I'm scared because Papa is really serious right now, I'm pretty sure he and Kuya already talked about everything and I hope Kuya explains everything because originally what we did was his plan.

I'm worried about Papa getting angry at me but I'm worried about Axel more.

"I'm very disappointed in both of you Callista," he said, still serious.

I feel disappointed in myself because Papa's disappointed in me, who wants their parents to be disappointed in them? I'm pretty sure that Mama's gonna talk to me too and tell me that she is also disappointed, I and Kuya lied and I know that she and Papa don't like us lying.

"Your brother told me that it was his plan but you know that you can just ring me and tell me everything about it but you didn't. Do you know the reason why I enrolled you in Millennium University Callie?... It's for you to be safe because you're gonna be there as a Parvenu and Parvenu student are the top priority, they will do everything just for heirs like you to not be in danger-- you pretended to be a S.I.N, now looked what happened, you were the last one to be saved during the fire"
