CHAPTER 30

AXEL's POV

Pag pasok pa lang ni Callie sa canteen ay agad na siyang pinag-usapan ng mga studyante mula sa iba't ibang ranggo.

She looks intimidating now, maybe because everyone knows that she's one of the highest students at our school, even us Parvenu are intimidated. 'Is this the real her?'

She looks like a different person. From a pair of designer brand shoes, expensive hair clips to luxurious pieces of jewellery. You can tell by her graceful movement and her manners that she's from a wealthy family.

She looks so high that even I can't reach her.

But even she's like that I can still see my Callie. I just want her to be my Callie but I also want to know the real her, not just who she is as Callie but also who she is as Callista.

"She's an elite" Geo commented.

I just stayed quiet while staring at her. I tried to talk to her earlier when I saw her in the hallway but she just ignored me, she didn't even glance at me, she just walked away.

It's making my heartache whenever I think that she hates me, 'is this what she was feeling when I was angry at her?'

Nang matapos ang lunch ay nagtungo ako papunta sa office ko, as a student council president I have my own office. I don't feel like going to school because I just won't be able to focus.

Ipinatong ko ang ulo ko sa braso ko na nakapatong sa ibabaw ng lamesa. Kung inintindi ko lang sana siya edi wala kami sa ganitong sitwasyon ngayon, pero ano pa bang gagawin ko? It's on the past now and all I need to do is apologise and make it up to her.

I was busy thinking of ways on how to make it up to her when I heard the door opened, I lift my head and looked who it was and it was Calyx.

He has the same expression every time he looks at me, an irritated look. I don't know what's wrong with him, naiintindihan ko pa siya nung mga unang buwan na nagkakilala kami dahil hindi pa ako nakaka move on kay Zari noon, halata naman na naka move on na ako mula kay Zari kaya hindi ko alam kung bakit ganito pa din siya sa akin.

'Is it because I'm her sister's boyfriend or Is it because I hurt her sister?'

"What do you need?" tanong ko sa kaniya at umayos ako ng upo sa swivel chair ko.

"I want to talk to you asśhöle," he said in a bitter tone.

I want to swear at him like what he just did to me but I restrained myself because he's the older brother of the girl I like, baka bigla niya pang ilayo sa akin si Callie, inis na inis na nga siya sa akin, ayaw kong inisin pa siya lalo.

I want to be close to her now that I know he's her brother, of course, I need to make a good impression. I should talk to their parents when they come here or maybe on vacation, I'm pretty sure they hate me because of making their daughter cry.

Patong-patong ang problema ko tapos nandito pa itong ugok na 'to dito, ano naman kaya ang gusto niyang pag-usapan.

"About what?" walang ganang tanong ko sa kaniya.

"Why did you kiss Scarlet infront of my sister?"

I let out a sigh "I didn't kiss her, she kissed me"
