"Luigi."
She loves me..
"Luigi?"
She really loves me!
"Luigi!"
Luigi was snapped out of his daze. Bringing himself back to reality, he lightly shook his head, taking his gaze down from the clear blue sky to see his slightly confused but highly amused brother Mario smirking at him as he studied his little brother.
"You look like you took one too many happy pills, Lu." Mario chuckled. Luigi rolled his eyes.
"I told you not to call me that." He replied dryly.
Mario sat next to him on the bench, propping his left ankle on top of his right leg and let his left arm drape along the back of the bench. He eyed his brother, raising a questioning eyebrow at him.
"What the heck happened since yesterday that's got you all slap happy?"
Shortly after his question Mario's eyes grew wide, a quick realization coming to mind.
"You and Daisy slept together didn't you?!"
Luigi's head turned quickly towards his brother, a look of shock on his face. He glanced around to make sure no one was nearby to hear Mario's ridiculous assumption.
"No, Mario, no!" He replied in a harsh whisper. "What is wrong with you?" Mario just shrugged as he chuckled.
"It seemed like a logical reason, I looked just as silly and blissful as you did after Peach and I...well you know."
"Oh so now you want to be all quiet and shy about it?" Luigi replied with his turn to chuckle.
The smile on his face grew bigger as he thought again about the actual reason why he was so happy this morning.
"Daisy and I said 'I love you' to each other last night."
Mario smiled happily at his brother. His smile was genuine, and not a teasing one like a big brother sometimes would do. He gave his brother a pat on the back.
"That's wonderful, my brother! I'm very happy for you. You and Daisy are wonderful together."
"Heh. Thanks, Mario. I really am a lucky guy."
Seeing as his brother was back into a daze once again, Mario chuckled as he stood up, making his way down the stone path back towards the castle. Luigi observed a nearby flower patch, focusing specifically on a bright white daisy that strongly resembled the necklace he presented to her last night. He thought back to the moment he fastened the clasp around her neck, and remembering how beautiful it looked against her tan skin.
And the way it looked on her skin when it was just about the only thing she wore last night...He thought.
They may have not taken their relationship to the level that Mario had initially assumed but the exchange on the boat last night did not stop them or their night from going in a certain direction.

Luigi and Daisy had stumbled their way down the hall of the yacht as they downed their final gulps of champagne.
"Daisy where are we going?" Luigi asked as he chuckled.
Daisy clumsily turned to him and put a finger to his lips, trying to stifle her fit of giggles. "Sh-shhhhh." She managed to say.
"We-we don't want to disturb the King and Queen in the other room." Daisy nodded her head in the direction down the hall, toward the room where Peach and Mario had snuck off to earlier in the night.
