The ship continued over the surface of Geonosis. The wielders were bewildered by what Twi had said.

"I'm sorry," Ven said, "but did you say we were leading a battalion?"

"Yes, General," Twi responded, "the Jedi are to be our leaders in this war."

"But we aren't Jedi," Aqua said, "we're keyblade wielders."

Twi tilted his head in confusion. According to command, Jedi were fighting in the arena and they were to lead the clone army.

"One moment, please," he said, turning around and spoke into his forearm.

The nine began talking amongst themselves.

"Generals?" Sora asked, "Us? We don't have the skills."

"And the Jedi," Riku added, "are supposed to lead this army? But they're supposedly peace keepers."

"It's a catch 22," Terra said, "if they stand by their ideals, innocents could die and they'd be guilty of not doing anything to stop them. It's either betray their ideals, or let innocents die. And I think we're in the same boat."

"Yeah," Aqua said, "if we don't fight, then the light of this realm may die. If we do, we might die and leave our realm with at least one less light."

"I think we have to do this," Ven said, "we need to try and save the light here."

"I agree," Roxas said, "if we don't, then are we really guardians of light?"

"Besides," Xion said, "how difficult could it be to save these worlds?"

"Just so long as we don't have to do any icky jobs," Axel said.

Everyone agreed. Sora noticed Kairi was silent.

"I don't want to lose any of you," she said, quietly.

"We're in this together," Sora responded, "I'll keep you safe. No matter what."

Twi turned back to the wielders. He stated that the choice to lead the 358th was theirs and they wouldn't be forced to take command if they didn't want to. The wielders all stated that they were willing to lead. Before any orders could be given, lasers were being fired at them. Roxas peeked out the side of the ship they were on and saw enormous orbs and rockets. Bustling around them were hundreds of droids. Axel and Xion joined him in looking. They exchanged a nod. They summoned their keyblades and shot fire above the giant tanks on the rockets. The fire exploded and the tanks fell on the droids. They returned and the ship landed a minute later. The ship emptied and the nine saw dozens of identical white armored troopers standing, ready to fight.

"Is this the 358th?" Sora asked Twi.

"Some of us," Twi said.

"Right." He summoned his keyblade, "Stay behind us."

The others summoned their keyblades and they led the troopers towards the army in front of them. Blue lasers went from the troopers to the droid army in front of them. Red lasers were firing toward them, but none of them landed on the troopers. The wielders were deflecting all of the lasers making sure none hit the troopers. They then saw missiles flying toward some of the walking tanks around them, destroying them. Axel looked to their right and saw a tank walking next to them.

"Remind me what those rockets can do to these..." Axel said to a trooper.

"They can destroy an AT-TE in one shot," he responded, "and we're standing right next to one."

Axel saw a rocket flying in an arc toward the AT-TE. He jumped on top of it and threw his keyblade into the rocket when it was pointed down at the tank. The keyblade hit the missile causing it to explode. He got down from the tank.
