Chapter 5: Return to Geonosis

The many venators dropped out of hyperspace in front of the giant orang orb.

"I thought we'd never have to come back here," Riku said, "I thought that after we won the first time the Geonosians wouldn't have tried again."

"Well," Sora said, "they did try again."

"Let's just deal with this," Kairi said, "And we can go to another world."

They boarded the LAAT that had a man and an orange, with strange head-tails, girl about their age in it. They had learned that the man was Jedi Anakin Skywalker and the girl was his padawan Ahsoka Tano. The trip to Geonosis was... interesting for the three wielders to say the least.

"What do you mean they're already generals?" Ahsoka asked, "They're as old as I am!"

"But we have more experience," Riku calmly explained.

"Plus," Anakin tried to explain, "they are as powerful as a jedi master."

"Yeah, right." Ahsoka said, "I'm a Jedi. You nine just swing around big keys."

Sora walked to where she was face to face with her. He had a slight smirk on his face.

"Prove that you're better then," he said.

He summoned his keyblade and got into a ready position. Ahsoka ignited her lightsaber and held it in a reverse grip. She charged at Sora who very easily dodged her first slash. He then blocked her multiple slashes, to her evident surprise, before attacking. She was caught off guard by his speed, but still blocked a large number of the attacks. But very soon after she was getting the hang of blocking, her feet were swept out from under her and she fell on her back. When she attempted to get back up, Sora's keyblade was pointed directly at her.

"That wasn't terrible," Sora said, "If you ever want to spar, just find one of us."

Ahsoka was still somewhat unhappy by her being beaten by Sora so easily. As she studied the three wielders they were going to Geonosis with, she noticed the closeness of Sora and Kairi. They were whispering about something she couldn't make sense of. Stuff about heartless, nobodies, inversed or unversed, or something. Riku was... she felt a little bit of blush on her cheeks looking at him.

"All gunships!" shouted a clone from somewhere in the hangar, "Prepare to move out! Go give it to those blasted bugs!"

The gunship doors closed. The second invasion of Geonosis was under way. Dozens of gunships flew out of the venators. As soon as they were in the lower atmosphere, they were under fire. Several gunships were blown out of the sky and only one group with the keyblade wielders managed to make it to the landing point. And that group was quickly getting surrounded. The wielders in that group consisted of Terra, Aqua, and Ven. The Jedi they were with, Obi-wan Kenobi, was missing right now.

"Generals," said the commander of the 212th, Commander Cody, "We need orders! Do we retreat or wait for reinforcements?"

"Where's Obi-wan?" Terra asked.

"His gunship crashed two klicks in that direction."

Cody pointed at a gunship that was far outside of the group. Terra grabbed Aqua's hand and began running towards the crashed gunship. Aqua didn't wrench her hand free of Terra's. She didn't know why, she could run without her hand being held. She just liked how her hand felt in Terra's. Or maybe it was how his hand felt in hers. They had to let go of each other to summon their keyblades and block the laser fire from the droids. They were forced stop blocking.
