The five wielders woke up after several hours. All of them stretched away what little fatigue remained.

"Man," Axel said, "I needed that sleep."

"I guess some things don't change, huh, Axel?" Xion asked.

"If we were back home, I'm pretty sure you'd still be sleeping." Roxas said.

"We can sleep more later." Riku said.

"Agreed. Let's head to the command center." Terra said.

They left the barracks they slept in and returned to the world of shadow. Piercing the sky in the center of the clearing, surrounded by half a dozen shell like structures stood the command center. Marching around the base were clones and their vehicles, all on their patrols. When the keyblade wielders got into the command center's base, they saw a field that was the floor that could take them up to the command center, or down to the brig. They went up and entered right after Krell and Rex had finished a communication with someone.

"I'll try to get him back," a clone said.

"Don't bother," Krell said, "they've cut off all communications."

"What'd we miss?" Axel asked.

"It was General Kenobi," Rex said, "he relayed that the Umbarans are getting more supplies from a Separatist ship in orbit."

"We will press into the capital regardless." Krell said, "We move out in twelve hours."

"Uh," Riku said, "shouldn't we consider all our options? What good will it do to get to the capital if the Umbarans have a constant supply stream?"

"A swift and decisive victory."

"What are we even up against?" Roxas asked.

"Sir," a clone said, "we have incoming!"

An alarm started going off. From outside the window they saw three streaks of light about to crash into the forest beyond the base. The ensuing explosions lit the room. The keyblade wielders were unnerved at what Krell was wanting, yet again.

"So we're moving out when?" Terra asked.

"Twelve hours," Krell responded.

The five left the command center in concern. They'd just finished a suicide mission in going against Umbaran technology that they couldn't counter, and now Krell wanted them all to march through bombardment to the capital? As they were leaving, Terra and Riku felt the same cold chill from Krell.

"Hey," Axel said, "you guys okay?"

"Darkness. I felt it from Krell," Terra said.

"I felt it, too. But he's supposed to be a Jedi." Riku said

"Could have fooled me. The Jedi we've fought with care about their clone soldiers. Krell seems to just view them as a means to an end." Roxas said.

"He's definitely not Anakin, or Obi-wan. I've even heard that Windu is more caring about his clones. So what's wrong with Krell?" Xion asked.

They exited the building still wondering whether the darkness here was anything close to the darkness they fought against at home. They passed by a few clones also pretty disgruntled about the orders from Krell. Xion overheard their idea to use the Umbaran starfighters to destroy the supply ship in orbit. Rex said he was going to speak to Krell about their idea. Xion decided to join Rex, telling the other four she was going to speak to Krell. Roxas said that he was joining. The three returned to the command center.

"Sir," Rex said, "would you reconsider your plan to retake the city?"

"Why should this simple plan be retooled?" Krell asked.
