"Despite knowing that you'll be back to work, I don't think we'll be talking about the Zoe case." Erwin said as he took a cup of coffee.

Damn, I forgot about the case after all. It's been a month and I still have no idea how to help, or even assist.

I forgot that me and Hange-we're just a lawyer and a client. Nothing else.

"And I guess, this involves the other Zoe, isn't?"

I cannot simply disagree with the blonde person in front of me. But before thinking about her, I need to confront something that I think I'm not prepared to know more.

"Not really, Erwin. It's just- remember the time you told me about remembering your previous life?"

Erwin took a sip of his coffee as he placed it down while looking at me.

"Does that mean, you've remembered everything now?"

"I remembered the events, but-"

"But what? You cannot accept that it happened-"

"NO!!" I placed both of hands in the table. Realizing that everyone started to look at the both of us, I ended up saying something that might disappoint him-and even myself.

"I can remember or see the events, but I don't know who I am with."

Erwin took a sip once again of his coffee. You can see clearly how disappointed he was, after all I knew how he reacts since we've been friends since then.

"But I'm trying. I'm trying my best to know who those people are."

Straightening up in his seat, Erwin glanced back at me with a serious look.

"Then, try as much as you could. I won't give you hints about it, I want you to remember who they are. And if you knew who those people were, it is up to you if you'll approach or create a distance towards them." Erwin stood up on his chair, "It was nice to see you after a month, Levi. Once you're back to the law firm, I'll be giving you the updates regarding the case."

Glancing at me one last time, he said "Remember, whatever happens, I'll be your friend throughout your entire lifetimes."

TIMESKIP

After that meeting with Erwin, I decided to pass by a bookstore to grab a journal (and some books to read) that can serve as a continuation of my dream tracking-if that's what they call it.

Dinner was completed, and right now, I'm compiling the journals that I've been writing for a month now. Grabbing the new one, I ended up sticking it up with the others. If you look at it closely, it looks like something that you can use as an entry to be in New York Times Bestseller under non-fiction, since it is my experiences after all.

Kidding aside, I doubt it would fall under non-fiction. Probably suspense, since people kept running against those giant naked people.

Realizing that it's time to sleep already, I decided to prepare my bed as I lay down, waiting for sleep to consume me.
