Doubts

I move closer to Leon shivering slightly. The temperature has dropped considerably. blinking my eyes I look over at the window to see its swinging on the hinges. Groaning I stand padding over and latching it back shut "You are a disgrace to this family." I turn hastily falling back into the wall "Hello Y/N."

"What do you want?" he shrugs "To protect the kingdom. My youngest is a witch. My other daughter is a witch and a disgrace while Arthur is under some sort of spell from his manservant. He should be marrying a princess and securing an heir." he takes a step forward his form shimmering slightly around the edges "Sadly you weren't be around to see it." I summon fire to my hands "Leave." he chuckles "You can not harm me, I however will enjoy harming you."

He lunges forward and I duck down throwing fire at his face. It passes right through hitting the wall, Leon sits up in a blur he is standing in front of me putting himself between Uther and me. "Leon you were such a loyal guard I'll be sorry to kill you." I summon up more magic hurling it at Uther, he roars disappearing with a cloud of what looks like smoke. "Are you alright?" I nod shaking slightly "Fine, I think." 

He pulls me into a tight hug "We're going to get rid of him, I promise." I nod relaxing into his arms "I don't think I'm going to be getting any more sleep." he chuckles picking me up in his arms carrying me over to the bed and sitting down gently "I'll stay up with you then." I sigh leaning my head on his shoulder "I love you."

Merlin P/O/V:

I stare blankly at the wall Arthur sleeping soundly next to me. "What's wrong?" I smile slightly looking down at Arthur who is only half awake "Nothing." he rubs his eyes grunting "Its not nothing." I smile "It is really." he shakes his head rolling onto his back "Not nothing, tell me." I frown slightly "Do you ever regret going out with me?" he sits upright "Why would you ask that? Merlin I love you." I nod slightly "Its just I can't give you an heir and I know that some of the people won't support that and..."

He clamps a hand over my mouth staring intently into my eyes "Merlin you listen to me right now. I love you so much, I don't give a damn what the people think. As for an heir I have siblings and if not we'll choose someone." he removes his hand replacing it with his lips "I love you Merlin." I smile softly running a hand through his hair "I love you too." he kisses me once more "Don't ever forget that, I'm not loosing you." I sigh moving closer "I'm not going anywhere."

Chuckling he wraps his arms around my waist pulling me down next to him "Don't ever doubt us again." I chuckle "I won't, 'fraid your stuck with me." he chuckles again "Doesn't sound too bad to me."
