Merthur and Reader x Sir Leon

Knights

(Small time skip to the knights in the village where you were spotted)

Your P/O/V:

I walk into the village just as the sun is setting leaving Ivy hidden in the forest. I pull up my hood on my cape and walk into the tavern sliding into a seat at the bar. The barman sets a beer in front of me and I place a gold coin on the counter "Thank you." he nods and shuffles off. I look around at the few people dotted around all drinking and talking loudly to each other. The door opens and it all falls silent. Three knights walk in all wearing the Camelot crest and I look away. Lancelot, Gwaine and Leon. 

I smile, so there trying to find me. I know that if Uther finds out he will have them killed. I finish the rest of my beer and nod to the barman before standing and walking to the door. Gwaine stands and follows me outside tailing me through the street. I duck around a corner and grab Gwaines arm before covering his mouth with my hand placing the other to my lips so that he stays quiet. I remove my hand and smile "I'm sorry, I can't return with you. Uther will kill anyone that he knows was involved in my return. I can't do that to you. Please don't tell Arthur or the others that you caught me." he nods looking shocked.

He smiles "Arthur asked out Merlin." I smile "Goodbye Gwaine." I turn and run into the trees finding Ivy grazing. I smile "Time to go." I climb onto her back and urge her forward, back towards our new home. 

Gwaine P/O/V:

I walk back to the tavern slowly trying to think of a good lie. Whatever I say I bet Leon and Arthur won't believe it. I walk back into the tavern and sit back down opposite Leon and Lancelot, they both lean forward expectantly and I shake my head "It wasn't her." they both nod and sit back I take a long drink from my glass "She'll be here somewhere." they both nod and Lancelot sighs "I'm not telling Arther." I manage a small smile "Nope." Leon sighs "I'll do it but only if you buy the next round." I grin and stand gathering the glasses.

The next morning after several rounds of drinks we mount of our horses riding back to Camelot. We pass through the lower town and up to the city dale. Arthur is waiting on the main steps with Merlin, Percy and Gwen. We dismount and walk over, Leon shakes his head and Arthur nods his face falling. We all walk inside and I follow Lancelot towards the armoury.
