Merthur and Reader x Sir Leon

Meeting

Arthur frowns turning to Leon "Rouse the guards. Meeting in the throne room now." he nods and squeezes my hand gently "Of course Sire." he leaves and I walk to Morgana's side sitting next to her on the bed and wrapping my arms around her shoulders. She wraps hers around my waist leaning her head on my shoulder.

"Are you alright?" she nods slightly and the doors burst open a distressed looking Gwen runs into the room "What's going on?" Arthur frowns "Some sort of dark magic. They saw Uthers ghost." she rushes to Morgans other side pressing a hand to her forehead "Are you both alright?" 

I nod and Morgana shakes her head slightly "I thought he would be gone forever. Now hes come back to haunt us." I hug her tighter "Would you like to come to the throne room?" I nod and stand walking over to Arthur and Merlin. Morgana shakes her head "Fill me in afterwords." 

Gwen smiles softly "I'll stay with her." the three of us leave heading for the throne room. Arthur frowns rubbing a hand over his face "Any ideas on how this is all possible?" Merlin shakes his head "No, but Gaius might." he presses a quick kiss to Arthur's cheek before running towards Gaius's chambers. 

I grip my brothers hand tightly "It's going to be okay." he nods pushing open the throne room doors, most of the knights have already gathered inside and are seated around the table. I slip into the seat next to Leon holding his hand under the table. 

He leans over slightly whispering "Are you alright?" I nod slightly and Arthur scowls leaning his hands on the table "We have a problem. Someone has been using dark magic and has somehow resurrected my father. His ghost was spotted around the castle and we need to find out how to get rid of it. In the meantime guards will be posted around the castle."

The doors open and Gaius and Merlin walk in, Gaius holding a large leather bound book. "Sire, I believe someone used the horn of cathbhadh to summon your fathers ghost. It was used by the old priestesses to talk to their predecessors but had the power to allow ghosts back into the human realm. In order to remove the ghost you would need to find the horn and blow it in the presence of the ghost."

He places the book down sliding it towards Arthur as Merlin walks around to his side leaning over his shoulder. "Then we search for the horn." Gaius nods "There are rumors of its location but if someone has used it then it would be easier to track its magic." he looks between Merlin and me "Is that possible?" Merlin nods "I think so, with Morgana's help we should be able to." 

I nod and the Arthur sighs "Post guards at all the possible exits and entrances to the castle. If you see anything remotely strange report to myself or my sisters. Dismissed." the knights all rise but I grip Leon's hand preventing him from leaving giving him a pleading look to stay. He smiles and stays where he is.

"You can start tomorrow morning. Get some sleep." Gaius leaves and Merlin takes Arthur's hand in his. Leon and I both stand and leave. We walk back to my room and I lay back down hugging Leon tightly "I'll protect you princess, always." I smile softly tilting my head to kiss his cheek "I love you."
