Bandits

(time skip five months)

Your P/O/V:

Its been two months since I saw Gwaine and the others in the tavern and I haven't heard anything from them since or seen any knights of Camelot. I have been keeping myself busy by killing bandits and giving away most of the money I take from them to people who need it. I keep thinking about Arthur, Merlin, Leon and the others. I have also sent a couple of letters to Morgana letting her know that I'm okay. 

I smile at Kali and stroke her nose "Ready to go and kill some more bandits?" she buts my hand gently and I smile climbing up onto her back then make sure my bow is secure. I urge her forward and we ride into the trees. After an hour I find the group of bandits that I'm looking for and dismount. "Stay here." Kali snorts quietly and pull up my hood walking forward. The four bandits who are all sitting around a fire stand and draw their weapons "What do you want?" I shrug "Just wondering if you could return that money you stole the other day." they all laugh and one walks forward raising his sword.

"You know how to use that thing sweetheart?" I draw my sword and smile "Either you return the money now or lose your lives in trying to keep it." they all snort in laughter and I sigh flicking my wrist so that a fireball appears. They all look shocked and two of them lower their weapons slightly. I smile and swing my sword in my hand "Made your decision?" one of them charges at me and I disarm him quickly holding the weapon to his neck. "Either you give me the money now or I'll kill you." the other three all give each other scared looks and one throws a small dagger aimed at my head. 

With a flick of my wrist, I turn it the other way and it embeds itself in the tree just next to his head. The other two grab two bags and throw them at my feet "Thank you." I withdraw my sword and the bandit lets out a long breath visibly relaxing. I pick up the two bags and walk backwards towards Kali. They all still look wary but don't make any move. I turn and hear all four of them draw their swords. I sigh and concentrate my magic on conjuring up some rope. With ease, I tie them all to a large oak tree their swords stuck in the ground so they can't reach them. 

"If I'm right there is a Camelot patrol near here." they all scowl and struggle against the ropes I smile "Have fun." I walk back over to Kali and climb onto her back securing the money bags "Lets return this to its rightful owners." we ride to the nearby village Viara and I dismount pushing down my hood and grabbing the two moneybags. Several young children run forward all grinning "You came back." I smile "Of course I did." they all walk around me herding me towards the elder's hut. I smile and let two of them swing on my arms being mindful of my swords and daggers.  We stop outside the elder's hut and I smile "I need to talk to the elders." they all nod and I smile "Alone." 

They all sigh but one smiles "Then we'll wait outside." I laugh and they all cross their arms I nod and walk inside. I bow and place the money on the floor "I hope its all there." the elders smile and the leader stands "Thank you, we owe you a great debt." I shake my head "No you don't." he smiles "You are extremely kind, princess." I frown and stutter "How did you..." he smiles "Find out?" I nod and he continues "The King made a visit asking for someone of your exact description. We told him we had not seen you." 

I smile "Thank you." he nods "No problem, it was the least we could do, but I would advice laying low if you care to avoid him." I nod "Thank you." they all nod and one smiles "I see the young ones have taken a liking to you." I smile "They're sweet." I bow my head "You know where to find me if you need any help." they nod and I walk out instantly bombarded by the children. I laugh and they all follow my back to Kali "Are you leaving?" "Where are you going?" "When are you coming back?" I smile "I'm afraid I don't know when I'm coming back but I promise that I will." they all nod and I smile mounting Kali "I'll see you all soon."
