Truth about Merlin

Leon P/O/V:

After riding all afternoon we finally stop and set up camp in the growing darkness. Arthur looks troubled and so does Merlin as we sit around the fire and accept the food from Merlin. Arthur stares at the fire and Gwaine grins "What's troubling you princeling?" he scowls "Do you think magic is as bad as my father says?" Lancelot glances at Merlin then says "I don't. Magic isn't bad just the person who yields it. Most people with magic are good, we just always seem to run into the bad ones." 

Arthur nods and so does Gwaine and Percy. Merlin smiles slight.y and Lancelot looks at Merlin giving him a nod. Merlin's eyes flash gold and the fire flares up all of sudden before returning to normal. Arthur gasps "Merlin?" he smiles "Suprise." we all stare at him confused except Lancelot who obviously already knew. Merlin smiles "I will explain everything. But please don't interrupt." we all nod and he takes a deep breath before launching into an explanation about how he was born with magic and is also a dragon lord. He also says that he has saved Arthur and Camelot on many occasions and how he is like the most powerful warlocks on earth. Arthur scowls "So when you went missing or to the tavern?" Merlin grins "Saving you as usual." 

The others look shocked and Arthur smiles slightly "Well at least we know that all magic isn't bad." Merlin nods "Morganna isn't really bad, she just hates Uther for lying to her and wants to be accepted for who she really is." Arthur nods "Thanks for trusting us enough to tell us." Merlin nods "I would have told you sooner but I didn't know if I would keep my head or not. I'm rather attached to it." Arthur smirks and shakes his head.

"I couldn't do that to you no matter what my father said." he smiles "Any other surprises to share, Leon are you and Y/N courting? Lancelot are you and Gwen secretly engaged?" we both blush and Lancelot smiles "I am actually thinking about asking her." Gwaine grins "I call best man!" we all roll our eyes and Arthur turns to me "Any plans on finally admitting how you feel?" I shake my head "I don't know what you're talking about." Percy hits my arm lightly "Sure you do. You know those things called feelings, the ones you have for Y/N." I glare at him and he grins. The others laugh and Gwaine stands up dramatically "Well I have a surprise, Percival and I are dating."   

He plonks himself down in Percy's lap and crosses his arms. Percy wraps his arms around Gwaines waist and buries his face in his kneck blushing furiously. Elyan and Lancelot wolf whistle while Arthur, Merlin and I clap loudly. An hour later we all settle down to sleep. Merlin casting a protective barrier so we don't need a guard. Arthur falls asleep next to Merlin and Gwaine sleeps next to Percy which makes Lancelot and Elyan laugh. We all fall asleep eventually letting the fire die down.
