7: Legend Back To Life

It's been two years since Shepard's body was recovered and project Lazarus has been working day and night trying to bring her back to life, Alexander has had some operations but has mostly served as a guard on the station. Alexander is currently in his quarters in the middle of a conversation with Yunai.

Alexander: "so you haven't found much on Yuri or this Korak?" He asks somewhat irritated but keeps his composure.

Yunai: "I'm sorry human, but they've completely disappeared off the map, I'm good but I'm not a miracle worker." She explains as Alexander sighs while sitting down.

Alexander: "I understand... Where are you these days?" He asks curiously just making friendly conversation.

Yunai: "still based in omega, as a favor to the crazy salarian I help protect the clinic." She says as Alexander is admittedly surprised given he figured she would leave after what happened. "Oh trust me, Blue Suns aren't bothering me anymore, Tarak knows better." She says rather confidently.

Alexander: "well thanks for your help regardless." He says as they say their goodbyes and end the call as Alexander runs his hand across his face feeling like he should just forget about Yuri and the damn krogan when his thought process is interrupted by an explosion. "What the hell?" Alexander asks grabbing his M5 phalanx and peaks around the corner.

His eyes widen seeing Loki mechs killing Cerberus staff. Alexander quickly changes into his armor and activates his barriers. He exits the room as the Loki mechs look over and try to shoot him but Alexander lands two easy headshots as their bodies explode soon after.

Alexander: "this is Cerberus operative Hellström, does anyone copy?" He asks hoping for a response but gets nothing. "Damn it! Miranda said Shepard was close to being ready to move, I should get there, Oscar can handle himself and knows to head to the shuttle during an emergency." Alexander says running through the hallways past many dead bodies.

Alexander: "this doesn't make sense, Oscar was in charge of handling the mechs, there's no way he'd allow them to be compromised, someone must've gained security access and disabled their friendly fire scans." Alexander thinks to himself but stops in his tracks seeing a heavy Ymir class mech.

Alexander sees that the Ymir is damaged somewhat with it's shields being down. Alexander sends out a warp as the Ymir mech begins firing it's main gun as Alexander charges while putting an external barrier up. Alexander uses his biotics to give him a boost over the mech and soon throws his sword and slices off the head of the Ymir mech.

Alexander lands and uses biotic pull to bring his sword back to him and continues moving as he arrives at the armory grabbing his N7 Crusader. It's hell fighting through all the mechs but it's nothing Alexander can't handle when he arrives in lobby area of sorts.

Alexander: "this must be D Wing, can't be far to the labs... This is Cerberus operative Hellström, please respond." He says but gets nothing as he's about to search through emergency channels but stops that once he sees Loki mechs appear in dozens on the other side.

Alexander rolls into cover feeling very annoyed as he begins firing his N7 Crusader landing multiple headshots but is forced back into cover when his barriers go down.

Alexander: "damn it..." He says taking a moment to breathe when he sees Shepard enter much to his surprise. "Shepard! Get into cover!" Alexander says as Shepard does as Alexander is disbelief. "I wasn't expecting you to be awake." Alexander says as Shepard looks uncertain if she should trust him.

Shepard: "are you with Miranda?" She asks cautiously.

Alexander: "I am name's Alexander Hellström, I'm guessing that's what two years does to ya" he says but a shot zooms past his head as he irritably shoots a Loki mech in the head destroying it. "Okay look if Miranda has your resurrected ass running around then things really have gone to shit, I know the way to the shuttles and that's our best bet, then I can fill you in." He says with his barriers coming up.
