Chapter 28 | Party favor

I met with historia in the morning to finish setting up Ymir's party. I informed her that Connie can DJ the party. she liked the idea and sent Connie over a list of songs she'd like to play.

"So what's the plan?" I ask.

"Ymir is gonna think we have dinner reservations, and I'm gonna pretend I left something in the ballroom then boom surprise! she said, blowing a party blower. Of course, she'll hate it at first but I know she'll get used to it, and enjoy herself."

"I can't wait," I say.

"Me either! Anyway everyone is arriving at 6 pm, so be here around 5 pm, and at 7 pm I'll be here with Ymir".

I nodded my head as I walked out of the ballroom with historia.

Once we made it back to campus I walked over to the dining hall and saw Eren sitting at an empty table. He looked upset so I went and sat across from him.

"Are you ready for tonight?" I ask.

"Yeah". He said not making eye contact with me.

"Is everything okay?".

He yawned as he shook his head. "Just Didn't sleep".

"Is there a reason?".

"The art project".

"I didn't even start mine, I wouldn't even know where to start".

"Just start with what we talked about". he said. 

"How am I supposed to know what Mona Lisa was feeling?"

Eren shrugged his shoulders, "imagine it".

Anyway, are you excited about midnight?

"Midnight?" he asked. 

"Yeah at midnight will be the 7th day".

"Oh yeah, sorry I didn't forget my mind is just full right now".

"I can tell, do you wanna talk about it?"

Eren shook his head as he started to get up. "I gotta get going, I'll see," he said as he kissed my head. he walked away out the dining hall. 

 I walked to the library as I had a couple of papers to work on before Levi's class. I met up with Sasha there as she studied with me. As a couple of hours went by a reminder popped up on my phone for Levi's class. I packed my stuff and said waved bye to Sasha as I walked off.

I continued my class with Levi and had the rest of the day off. Around 3 pm I started getting ready.

I started with my hair and then went on to my makeup. I went with a soft glam look with a nude lip gloss, I added a golden highlight to my face.

I grabbed the dress Eren picked and slipped it on and grabbed a pair of black heels. taking my phone and my bag I texted eren I'd be at this dorm.

Once I got to his dorm I knocked. "Come in". I heard from the other side. I rolled my eyes from eren still not locking his door.

"Hey," I said walking in. My eyes met eren's as he looked at me with a smile. "What?" I said as I smiled from seeing his smile.

"You're just so pretty".

To stop myself from blushing I changed the conversation. "We need to be there around 5 pm and it's already 4:30 so are you ready?".

Eren was holding up his black tie "can you" he said.

I walked towards him and grabbed the black tie. and tied it for him. Once I tightened it, I  put my hands on his chest and looked up with him, a smile started to creep up my lips.
