Chapter 27 | Dressing room

Hearing a knock on my door I open my eyes. hitch still asleep I'm questioning who's at the door. Once I awake myself I open the door, reviling historia "you ready?" she said. Not knowing exactly what I'm ready for I nodded my head. Letting her know I am.

"Let's get going".

I grabbed my bag and slipped on my shoes and followed historia out of my dorm. I still had no idea what was going on. I took out my phone to check the time being 7 am I noticed this was the 3rd day of the 7 days, leaving 4 days left. I also realized on the 6th day will be Ymir's birthday. And that is why I'm in historia's car right now.

We pulled infront of a big gate that led into a mansion.  the gate had the name "Reiss residence".

"Is this your home?" I ask.

"Well my family's my dad's out of town for a business trip, so it's just my sister here, but I figured it's the best place for Ymir's surprise party," she said with a smile.

She finally parked her car witch felt like forever since the whole driveway had to be a mile long.

"What's even the theme for the party?" I asked.

"Oh yeah, I never told you yet. I'm going for a classy theme. It will take place in our ballroom".

"Ballroom?"

Once we walked into historia's house I was completely amazed. The crystal chandelier hanging off the ceiling under a red carpet. The double stairs that led to a balcony even had red carpet.

"y/n you coming?" I heard as historia was walking through a hallway.

"Yeah, sorry your place is amazing and I have only seen the front of it". I said.

"Technically my family's but thank you anyway".

"How many rooms is it?"

"10"

"10 rooms!? How many people live here".

"Just my father and sister along with our butler and maid". 

As we walked through her house and passed many rooms, we entered this room with a long hallway that had big doors at the end.

Once we reached the doors historia pushed them open. revealing what I'm guessing is the ballroom. There were many tables set up with ivory champagne and gold decorations. with ceiling drapes under each table. The dance floor had its own crystal chandelier. There we're stairs that led up to another balcony. Hanging from the balcony said.

"Happy Birthday Ymir".

"Wow historia, you outdid yourself this is beautiful."

"It's not even finished yet," she said giggling.

"What else do you have to come?".

"Let's see". Historia said as she took out her phone. "We still have the ice sculpture, the Champagnes fountain, I still need to find a DJ, and the last reason, I need you to help me fix the flowers and balloons, follow me".

I followed her as she led me to a storage closet and pulled out a bucket filled with gold, and white balloons. and two tubs filled with white and yellow gardenias.

"There are vases on each table my plan is to make a bouquet for each table, we'll tie them with this gold ribbon" she pulled out the ribbon.

"And what about the balloons?"

"I just need help sorting them out and getting a count of each ballon for I can know the exact number and how many I need to put helium in".

"When do we start?"
