Chapter 32 | My Version

The next morning I started my daily routine with my classes. After Erwin's class, I was gonna meet up with jean for lunch. On my way, I ran into ymir. "Can you hear me out now?" she said.

"If it's about eren then no".

"Have you ever seen me putting up an effort for eren when it comes to you, that should mean something".

"It does, but ymir I'm done, I've said I'm done so many times but in the back of my head I knew I wasn't, it's different now."

"So what you're just gonna fall out of love with him?"

"No, I don't know, whatever happens, happens. I just know I'm not giving eren anymore of me".

"You both are-"

"What? Complicated".

"No, idiots," ymir said as she walked off.

I could tell she was upset with this whole situation, but I really didn't wanna give in to eren anymore. Once I met up with jean we went to grab lunch and ate at the park sitting at a table with the view of the lake.

"So we ready to pick up the pieces yet"

"No, but I did finish my art project". 

"How long are you gonna ignore it for".

"I'm not ignoring it, I just don't wanna talk about it".

jean sighed "So your art project when you're showing it".

"Today, after Levi's class".

"Are you sure you don't wanna talk about it-"

"Yes, jean I'm sure".

"What about after you see him".

"Not then either so please let it go, I'm really tired of hearing about eren and I'm just trying to eat my sandwich".

Jean sighed again, as he took a bite of his food. The rest of our lunch was quiet, we finished up and went back to campus. I stopped by the library to pick up a book before Levi's class.

Walking out of the library I ran into someone dropping my book we both went to pick it up as our hands touched, I noticed the mood ring. Looking up I saw into Eren's eyes. It only lasted a couple of seconds until I felt nauseated, I grabbed my book and walked past him.

I went straight into Levi's class early. And sat down as Levi was getting papers ready. "Class isn't for 30 minutes, you don't have something better to do?" Levi asked.

"No, not really".

As time went by people started showing up to class. He started class talking about Romeo and Juliet and the different types of love there is and about the test he would give us on it".

Once it was over I went straight to my dorm and picked up my mona Lisa painting. I walked to hange's class with my panting. Eren was sitting down alone at his new desk with his panting in front of him turned face down.

I sat at my seat with my panting. As time passed hange walked in along with a couple of students with their artworks.

Once class was filled hange started.

"Well class today is the day we show our version of Mona Lisa, and I didn't forget when you all asked me to make my own so I did. Hange pulled up a canvas facing them. Now the story of My version of the Mona Lisa, if I was gonna take my time panting someone, it would be someone who means a lot to me and who I owe for making me here in the first place, so I present to you, profess Levi as the Mona Lisa and yes you have permission to laugh".
