"Jean? what are you doing here?"
"Just came to see how things are," he said as he stood up from my bed and put the rose back on my desk. he stepped towards me with his hands in his pocket.
"Oh, everything is fine". I say
He nodded his head, "did you just come from somewhere? you look good".
"Yeah, um me and eren had a date".
"That's great, how was it?".
"Jean is everything okay?"
"Yeah, well I had a date too but she stood me up, so I just came here".
"I'm sorry-'
"Don't be, she didn't matter anyway, so your date with eren how did it go".
"It went well".
"That's good".
"Can I actually ask you a question, I mean you know eren more than anyone".
"What's up".
"Well, he said he doesn't wanna be himself around me? Would you know what that means".
"No clue" jean said.
I nodded my head.
"Don't let it get to you, he says stupid shit all the time".
"Your right, I guess".
"Did he get you the rose?" he asked.
"Yeah, it was sweet of him".
"He's never bought a rose for someone, or just any flower"
"I think he thought he needed to buy me one".
"What you mean?"
"This whole night he thought he needed to follow some kinda dating manual"
"It was his first time taking someone out on a date I would expect it".
"He really hasn't been on a date?"
"No, they just fuck and go. but it wasn't like he wanted to date them, he would of but he didn't see them anything more than just another bitch".
"So what he see's me more than just another bitch?".
"I supposed I mean who doesn't".
I shrugged my shoulders as a response.
"I should probably get going now, sorry for coming here unannounced"
"Don't worry about it"
"See you KitKat" jean said as he patted my head.
Once he left my dorm I went into the shower and got ready for bed.
The next day I met up with ymir at her secret spot.
"How was meeting historia's family," I said.
"horrifying"
"what? they didn't like you?".
"No they loved me, they're so nice it's scary. but enough about me, what's going on".
Once I explained the whole situation with ymir I then started asking her the question I had.
"Should I have just waited, I mean I made sure it was clear to eren and if he wanted to wait. are we rushing things? I mean what if I don't trust him after the 7 days and again what did "doesn't wanna be himself around me even mean!"
