2000, the year where the Second Honkai Eruption took place, and when it had ended, Cecilia Schariac was no more.
January 21st, 2003, Cocolia orphanage:
It was a warm night at the orphanage, Cocolia was having a cold beer at the table. "What a day," She sighed, the cold beer flowing down her throat as she slammed the glass onto the table, the ice clinking together as she exclaimed joyfully, but to an extent so the children won't hear her. Suddenly, banging arose from the door, Cocolia's head shooting up as she saw one of the children waking up startled.
"Mama...who's there?" The boy cried, the blonde woman coming over to comfort him, then went over to open the door harshly, revealing a cloaked woman holding a baby that was covered with a thin cloth. Cocolia eyed the woman and looked at the child with concern, "What the hell are you doing here? It's late." The cloaked woman didn't answer, instead, she shoved the newborn into Cocolia's chest, surprising her and catching her off guard as she held the child, "H-hey! What the--"
"Please," The cloaked woman breathed, "take the child, I want nothing to do with her."
Cocolia's frown formed into a calm smile as she looked at the cloaked woman, "Miss...I can only assume what happened, but, you seem to not be financially--and emotionally--stable enough to care for your daughter. But I'm more than happy to take her in."
The woman stood before Cocolia for a moment, then nodded, "Thank...thank you. After my parents disowned me after finding out I was pregnant, I had nowhere to go. And when I gave birth, I realized I wasn't prepared enough like I thought I was...and..deep down, I feel like it's my fault for not using protection." Cocolia shook her head, "No, no it's not. It was a mistake, and you learned from it." She paused as the air got colder, then advised, "Thank you for coming to me tonight, but I think you should go now, it's starting to get cold." The cloaked woman did nothing but turn away and did as Cocolia advised her to do, "Take care of her for me, alright?"
"Of course." Cocolia nodded, staying silent for a second, then called her back, "Wait!"
The cloaked woman stopped and turned around, "Yes?"
