"KIANA, NO!" A familiar voice shouted from behind Kevin as she launched a dagger from her hand, aiming it successfully into Kevin's right thigh. Kiana watched in horror as she saw Kevin cry in pain as he tried to pry the dagger out, but the more he did so, the more blood he lost.

Kiana looked at the woman in front of her, her eyes burning with anger and confusion, "Eleanor, what are you doing here--"

"Kiana," Eleanor said sternly, grabbing her hand, "please, listen to me. You must not join him, do you understand?"

"No! I'm not letting you go through the same hell I was in!"

"Oh yeah? What were you going through, huh? WHAT WERE YOU POSSIBLY GOING THROUGH TO GET IN THE WAY OF--"

"I WAS GOING TO LOSE SOMEONE AS WELL, KIANA!" Eleanor snapped, then realized how loud she screamed. She has not lashed out at anyone like this, especially towards someone she's known for a long time. Her face softened, her expression saddened and more stressed.

"My sister, Faye," Eleanor spoke, "She was...in the same position as Karina." Kiana stopped talking, realizing that she, too, lashed out. Guilt aroused in her chest as she listened to what Eleanor had to say.
