Kiana sat up, rubbing her sleepy eyes as she looked to the side, "Rina, time to—huh?"
The bed beside her was suspiciously empty, only Karina's bunny plushie sitting straight up on her pillow, Kiana brushed it off, guessing that her sister was at the training area. Kiana got dressed as usual, having her hair in her icon lose twin braids. She wore her classic headband with a warm, thin turtleneck, with a knit sweater on top and with shorts, paired with stockings.
Kiana took a peek at her phone,
10:05 December 7
"Ah...my birthday." Kiana solemnly said, looking at the window, the beautiful blue sky and the shining bright sun illuminating through it, "...Did they forget it?" Kiana realized her thought, then shook her head, "Nah, I'm sure they didn't!"
She walked out of the room unbothered, surprised at how quiet the dorm was.
It was dark, most of the lights were off except the one that lead to the kitchen, Kiana raised an eyebrow, wanting to investigate more, she gleefully walked to the kitchen, until she was met with—
*POP!*
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KIANA!" Everyone cheered in unison as confetti popped out of the confetti popper.
"I...I don't understand," Kiana said dumbfounded, a smile rising on her face, "I thought you all forgot!"
"Of course we didn't, silly!" Karina exclaimed happily as she walked over with a pastel pink and blue paper bag, with a white bunny silhouette painted on the front. Karina painted it herself. "Here's your gift, Kiana."
Kiana slowly took the bag, carefully pulling out the confetti as it revealed multiple gifts. Each gift wrapped with a ribbon corresponding to each person.
The first gift Kiana saw was from Fu Hua. "That's my gift for you, Kiana." Fu Hua said, motioning for Kiana to unwrap it. As Kiana unwrapped the present, she saw her favorite pack of dumplings, "Fu Hua...thank you so much!" Kian said as she ran to her, giving Fu Hua a big hug, "You're so, welcome, Kiana. Happy birthday!"
Kiana opened up more of the gifts, tears slowly running down her face as she smiled.
Theresa gave her a St. Freya pin.
Mei gave Kiana a tuna hair clip and some rice balls.
