Ever since Julia reported back to Einstein and Tesla about World Serpent's plans, Schicksal has been taking extra measures to protect each base from all the regions that their organization is located at. Including Salt Lake Base. The victim to all this madness.
Two weeks have already gone by, and there is visible progress to be seen within this branch of Schicksal. Combat training--at most--seemed to be the leading cause for the major streak of improvement.
Einstein, Tesla, Theresa, and Nagamitsu were all planning a strategy for when World Serpent attacks. Bronya, Seele, and the other remaining valkyries prepared their new-modeled weapons and practiced their formations, while Fu Hua and Eleanor trained Karina on how to use her Herrscher abilities.
Even if it was just more than two weeks, progress has already been seen in the way Karina has been using her newfound powers. She was able to channel Sirin and Veliona during battle, and she was even able to properly use both of their powers seperately.
Despite all of this, there was one thing that Karina was not skilled at yet, something that most people with double Herrscher powers could do easily.
Create their own power.
Karina cleared her mind, her eyes calmly shut as she got ready into position, listening for Fu Hua's instructions. Her body still and calm, just like she taught her.
"We can try as many times as you'd like," Fu Hua said, the light humming sound of her power summoning as she continued, "but remember, we only have two months. So we need to make the most of it."
"Fu Hua's right, Karina." Eleanor agreed, summoning powers of her own. "In order for this to work, you need to dig deep within yourself, let yourself drift within your consciousness, and find the one thing that will unlock your true potential."
"But what if I fail again?" Karina asked worriedly, gripping both of her mentors hands desperately as her mind became unfocused.
Fu Hua smiled gently, "You'll be fine, Karina. I promise. Eleanor and I are here, so you have nothing to worry about."
