3 years later, 2006. Karina is now 3 years old:

Ever since Karina was brought into the orphanage, every day continued as normal, just, with a new family member.

Every day, at 8:30, the morning bell would commence, and everyone had to wake up, Cocolia gave some time for the other children as well, and she never snapped at them for not waking up early. Then, when all the children came down for breakfast, they would have porridge and butterbrots.

Once breakfast was done, the children would all get dressed, and be taught by Cocolia normal things that kids would learn in school, Such as math, English, history, and science. For the older children, they would be taught the same thing, but they would also learn about the Honkai and how to fight. That starts when a child turns ten years old. After that, they had the whole day to do whatever they wished to.

The orphanage wasn't just rooms up and downstairs, it also had a library, a big one--in fact--with millions of sections of genres, for little kids, to big kids. It had all the books imaginable, even manga. And fortunately, there were a lot of bookworms in the orphanage, such as Jing-Sheng and Karina. Jing-Sheng was into comics and occasionally fantasy novels, while Karina was into picture books, obviously, since she's three.

Growing up, Jing-Sheng has not grown close with anyone at the orphanage, that is, until Karina appeared. And now, she's the only one he's willing to protect. He sees her as a little sister and a friend. After school, they always play in the garden together, Jing-Sheng throwing a tiny ball lightly for Karina to catch, and during school, he was even the one to teach her how to talk.

"Matushka, matushka!" Little Jing-Sheng hollered happily, Cocolia running over to him, "What is it, Jing-Sheng?"

"Rina talked, she talked!" The boy squealed with joy, a sweet smile forming on Cocolia's face as she crouched down and said softly, "What did you say, Karina?"

"Jing..Sheng!" Karina yelled happily. Gaining a smile and an exchange between looks from Cocolia and Jing-Sheng.

Karina was a happy and healthy child, and almost never got sick and or hurt.
