for the first time in a month, or so, you woke up in your own room. you didn't sleep so well, you had a nightmare again. you got out of bed put on a robe and walked to the kitchen to grab some food. luckily no one was there. you quickly grabbed something to eat. "good morning" you heard from behind you, shit almost, you thought to yourself not wanting to deal with anyone now. you turned around "morning Bucky" you said as you looked up to him. he looked like he didn't had any sleep. "you look like shit, are you okay" you asked him worrying about him. "well thanks, I'll be fine, just haven't had a lot of sleep last night that's all" he said smiling at you. you saw something was bothering him. "did you had a nightmare again?" you asked him. "no something else was on my mind" he said walking past you grabbing breakfast making clear he didn't wanna talk about it.
"I'm sorry about yesterday, asking you about you and Loki, I shouldn't have, I'm sorry" he said. "it's okay, thinking about it, it probably looked like we did, so i don't blame you" you said back. "you should talk to Steve, he felt bad about yesterday too" he said to you. "no i don't want to" you said back. "why?" Bucky asked confused "why do you forgive me but not him?" he asked. "because he doesn't understand!" you say a bit angry. you hopped on the kitchen counter sitting next to where Bucky was cooking an egg. "what doesn't he understand?" Bucky asked. "that i'm not one of the good guys" you say "he sees Loki as a bad guy because he killed people, but i killed people too, so why doesn't he see me as the bad guy" you say. "because you didn't do it y/n, you didn't kill those people hydra made you" he said putting off the gas standing in front of you between your legs looking deep into your eyes. "I did kill those people Bucky, and even than, Loki wasn't himself either he told me he heard voices coming from this stone" you say to Bucky.
"y/n listen to me, you're not the bad guy and maybe Loki isn't either. the world isn't black and white, it's a lot of greys" he said stepping even closer to you, your body's inches away from each other. he places his hands on your face cupping your cheeks making you look deep into his eyes.

"you are the sweetest most caring person i know, you are one of the good guys because you know what's right in your heart" he says his face inches away. if you would lean in your lips would touch, you really wanted to. you looked deep into his beautiful blue eyes. you felt chills run over your spine as he brushed his finger over your lips. you remembered the promise you made him and pushed him away slowly. "we shouldn't Bucky" you whispered as you got off the counter. "yeah we shouldn't" he said disappointment in his voice. you just looked at each other awkwardly but yet full of lust for each other. "yeah i should go" you said grabbing your breakfast and walking to your room.
you spent the rest of your day in your room not wanting to talk to anyone. that was the downside of living with so many people, you were never really alone. your mind went over the events of the past couple days and the nightmare you had about hydra. you thinking got interrupted when you heard a knock on your door. "can i come in?" you heard Steve ask from the other side of the door. you stayed silent not wanting to talk to him right now. "y/n i know you're in there" you heard him say but you stayed silent. "okay i'm coming in" he said opening the door. "I don't want to talk right now Steve" you say irritated. Steve closed the door behind him "okay than we don't talk" he said as he sat on the bed. "what are you doing?" you asked him confused. "you said you didn't wanna talk, so than we don't talk" he said grinning at you. "that's stupid" you said not looking at him. "you said you didn't wanna talk, so shush" he said smiling.
