"I- I don't know when he's coming, but he should be," Daniel reported back to Leta. "Soon, hopefully."

"Hear that, Thanos?" Leta smacked Chaos' head into her Jeep. "Your old buddy's coming to getcha."

"I can hardly wait." Chaos delivered a surprisingly powerful kick into Leta's diaphragm, knocking the wind right out of her. She stumbled backward and tried to regain her composure. He uppercut her jaw while her guard was down, and she fell backward.

"Oi! Purple guy! Leave the woman alone or the hat gets it!"

Answering an extra call from Daniel, Jenna had arrived, and she had her blowtorch aimed at Chaos' hat.

Chaos snapped his head around to her. "Don't you dare!"

"I do dare," Jenna said. "Take the stupid hat and go or else."

Had Chaos had eyebrows, he would've been glaring at Jenna. "Fine." He picked up his hat and put it back on his head. Jenna kept the torch pointed at it. "This isn't the last you'll be seeing of me." In a blink, he was gone.

Daniel fell to Leta's side. "Leta, are you all right?"

Leta sat up dizzily. "Yeah. All good. Thank you. You saved my life. Jenna, right?"

"That's me." Jenna offered her a hand. "You're Leta?"

"Yep." Leta nodded toward Jenna's car. "Who're they?"

"Oh, that's my husband, Leo, and daughter, Ariana," Jenna said. "Both of them have experience with these weird alternate dimension things, so I figured they could help."

"The more, the merrier."

A third car pulled into the park. Chaps stepped out of it, Nintendo Nunchuks at the ready. "Where is he?"

"Gone," Daniel said. "Jenna chased him off."

"Well, that's a shame," Chaps said. "Well done, though, Jenna. On that note, wonderful to see you both again."

Jenna threw herself onto Chaps. "Chaps! Hi!"

"Hello, Jenna."

"In trouble again, eh?" Daniel asked.

"Always, Danny boy," Chaps said after being freed from Jenna's embrace. "Well, are you two ready to join me in another battle against evil?"

"If I must," Daniel said at the same time Jenna said, "What kind of question is that?"

Chaps clapped his hands together. "Brilliant! Off we go."
